EXPERIMENT: ICE VS CPU - Ice Melting On CPU
EXPERIMENT: ICE VS CPU - Ice Melting On CPU
I have a corrupted CPU (Central Processing Unit), let me show you a unique experiment using the CPU. I'm going to show you how ice melts very quickly when it comes into contact with the CPU surface.
Why is the ice melting so fast?
In the structure of the CPU, there is a heatsink on the outside that plays the role of conduction of heat from the CPU die to the components that dissipate heat and protect the CPU die called IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader).
This part is made of metal, so it conducts heat well. Heat conduction usually tends to move from high temperature to low temperature, so the higher temperature from the CPU die will transfer into the ice cube (lower temperature) through the IHS very quickly. This makes the melting speed of the ice cubes also fast.

BLACK FIRE SNAKE EXPERIMENT - Burning Sugar and Baking Soda
มุมมอง 8053 ปีที่แล้ว
Black Fire Snake Experiment - Burning Sugar and Baking Soda The fire snake, also called the black snake or sugar snake, is a classic science experiment you can do in your own kitchen using a mixture of baking soda and sugar and fuel to trigger a reaction. When baking soda gets hot, it produces carbon dioxide gas. The pressure of this gas pushes the carbonates from the burning sugar out, produci...
POTASSIUM PERMANGANATE VS MILK - Chemical Reaction of KMnO4
มุมมอง 3.8K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Potassium Permanganate vs Milk - Chemical Reaction of KMnO4 This reaction is a neutralization reaction. We know that in the neutralization reaction the acid and base react with each other to form salt and water, Potassium permagnate (KMnO4) is basic and milk is acidic (lactic acid) by mixing them to produce Potassium Lactate. Forget about the chemical formula of this reaction and watch the chem...

Cocoa Powder in Milk - Hydrophobic Powder Can you think of a substance that is hydrophobic ? Oil! Oil and water do not mix. Oil repels water. Oil is hydrophobic. The fat molecules inside cocoa powder are hydrophobic too. They repel water. On the other hand, the starch molecules are hydrophilic. They love water. Milk is mostly water, so the same rules are true for milk. When you dunk the cocoa p...

Root beer/Cola floats (I usually drink cherry coke floats) don’t curdle but it might be because most people drink it quick enough for it not to curdle or since it’s ice cream it has to melt first then after it curdles which would all take a couple hours atleast

I had to deal with mosquito infestation just the other day in my multi-tier fountain. Added Clorox and peroxide, then flushed everything with a garden hose. Kept the hose in there for a few hours. The mosquito larvae are very resilient to chlorine and peroxide. When they were building the Panama canal, the construction workers kept getting sick with malaria, and the netting never really helped. Some guy came up with an idea to spray oil on standing water to suffocate the mosquito larvae. It worked! I've heard that you can also use the dish soap. (But Chlorine also dislodges all the detritus (muck) on which the larvae feed)

Effective if you have enough to equal 25 percent or more of the total volume of water to be treated is hardly efficient or practical. Kind of scary they are so darn persistent. Would like to see you test more options. Potassium permanganate for instance.
