DigitalDNA project. Video flyover of a nanoscale etching mask of a proposed topological analogue processor, optical or quantum. Idea is that the geometric units have an affinity with the basic constituents of a phenomena. As an analogy, if the phenomena were electrical we would divide the geometries into classes named inductive, capacitance, resistivity etc. and the overall topology an integrated circuit with a specific function.

      Hi, Thanks for the question. These are lattice structures of natural numbers, whole numbers, so there really is nowhere to zoom into. Suppose you might be able to interpolate between the pixels. Every prime number has a family of these "patterns" and it turns out the bigger the prime the bigger the detail see facebook.com/s.samociuk . If you need any raw data to play with let me know.

      For sure, look up "Second-Harmonic Generation Metasurfaces". However researches are using Maxwell's equations in the design loop which only deal with the bulk properties of EM radiation, hence the frequency control and efficiency of manufactured devices a pretty poor. You need things like Protofield operators to get at efficient metasurface designs. Thanks for the comment.

      I research some abstract things called Protofield Operators,PO, which are big collections of natural numbers. I often map these collections to coloured pixels to study the geometry. PO are generated using cellular automata and prime numbers and if natural numbers were just about “magnitude”, 0 1 2 etc, PO should quickly generate random noise patterns. However they go the opposite, absolute order and predictability. The conjecture is natural numbers are a bit more complex with additional properties which regulate the way they can be ordered. For now, I am just calling it colour. You might think of natural numbers as atoms which, when you look more closely, are composed of things like electrons, protons and neutrons. Its all about extending a thing called the division algorithm which is pretty ancient.
