When I replicate it for upper floors, it becomes red (like wall). Doesn't get selected in floors. And it shows no design while slab designing.

Generally for staircase slab of 300mm tread and 150mm riser, h/v=0.5>0.35 and automatically modelled as wall element in etabs. Shall we still design the waist slab as floor slab and not as wall?

Generally for staircase of 300mm tread and 150mm riser h/v is 0.5>0.35, hence waist slab is becoming wall as per etabs automatically. Shall we design it as floor slab still?
