How to make your own ghost out of resin
มุมมอง 10K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Learn how to make your own halloween decorations this season! I strictly use @masepoxies tabletop resin to create these ghosts. The cure time I mention in this video is directly related to this brand of resin. If you use another brand or a different product from Mas epoxies the cure time will be different. Make sure to keep that in mind when you are creating! Add a battery operated tea light an...

Making a holographic geode table
มุมมอง 5993 ปีที่แล้ว
Hey guys!! This is my first time using my new 22' geode mold! Client wanted a turquoise geode table with pops of holograph paper. Really love how it turned out. This video highlights the struggle I had with making a final decision on the details for this table. In the end I went with my gut to cover it up and start again, and I'm so happy I did! These are BREATHTAKING!!! You should do a step by step tutorial...if you have time.❤
So cute!! How much resin did you use for each ghost?
Thank you!! Around 3 oz
They are adorable…
Thank you!!
those are so cool
Do you sell these
@@lynnb1381 yes! I have a few available at jessicaabella.com
This is just too cute. Is it better to use a regular epoxy or could you use fast set?
@@tinaweed4261 I tried using a fast epoxy and it didn't work out I would stick with regular resin!
What maker did you use?
@@Ladysmith925 in this video I used MAS Epoxies
These are so cute!!! You said 1 hr and 45 minutes to drape them. You should have mentioned the type of resin you use. Not all resin works the same. I made a set of them. And 2 hrs. Wasnt ready. I waited 3 hrs...I went ahead and draped them. But the next day it stretched to where the top gotten so thin and bottom made looks like octopus legs. Total mess and waste of resin 😢
@@deeb2747 you can use either MAS Epoxy tabletop resin or Alumilite's Amazing Clear Castv
Your videos are good . With some contemporary editing, they could attract a larger audience and generate more engagement.
Where do u get the halo papey
Michaels !
Gorgeous
brilliant!
@@debraleblanc6122 thank you!
I can’t WAIT TO TRY THIS! This is one of the best tutorials I’ve seen so far
Thank you so much !!!
@@cleasalazar6527 omg thank you so much !!
Thank you!! These are beautiful!
Where did you buy your beads? Love your tutorial!
Thank you so much !! I get them from Michaels
May I ask about how much resin you use for one of these
About 3 ounce !
They turned out beautifully!!
Beautiful!! 💜💙
They’re still very pretty! They’d make great coasters!
Beautiful work!
Gorgeous
Thank you so much !!!
How much resin are you mixing /pouring per layer please? :)
I have to be honest I just eyeball it hahah maybe 16 to 18 oz at once ?
So pretty!!! But where are your gloves?😱
I know !! 🫣 this is when I first started out and didn’t realize how dangerous it was. I definitely use gloves now !
Absolutely love your work...❤️
Thank you so much !!
So pretty 😊
I'm just trying to make your ghost. I absolutely love them. My first one I draped to soon. My second one I waited to long. Is there anything I can do for the second one. Can I somehow heat it so it will drape more?
What temperature is the room you’re pouring in? That really effects the cure time! I notice if you want them to cure fast if you put them in a really warm space maybe use some space heaters they cure faster ! I would suggest around 85-90 degrees
Nice thanks ✨
Sick thank you!
hi anti Jessica its me lu
Adorable. I love seeing your ghosties on IG. I’m looking to try out a new resin. Thinking about giving Mas a go
I love them they’re great!! I switch between the tabletop and art pro. Art pro is great for top coats cause of the UV protection
Attempting these tonight. Thanks for sharing.. they r amazing both ways... Wish me luck. Lol. We will see how it goes.
You got this!!!
@@JessicaAbella attempted 3.. 1st one I threw away.. cldnt save it,😥. 2nd to thin.. it cracked,🙄 3rd alot better, just need to figure out how to keep the beads from getting wrapped in the seran wrap.. but it came out cute.. more practice for sure.. love the idea and I will keep trying..
@@jeanjax34 yes absolutely!! Sometimes when I can’t get all the plastic off I hit it with a heat and it melts off!
Very cute!!!
White is the densest color in the epoxy spectrum. I've just started using epoxy crafts and used one drop of white and it took over the whole project 🤣❤️ I feel you, your work is absolutely admirable, if you put 1 drop of white, it spreads. Epoxy does what it wants sometimes 🤣🤣🤣
Hahah it’s crazy !!!
I got a folding table i painted black, obviously the black didn't really stick so i covered it in stickers. If i where to put a clear resin over it all would it set and stay on the table, or would i have to sand it all first.
You can pour it right over ! Just make sure to tape it off so it doesnt drip everywhere
About how much epoxy do you use for each one?
Depends but usually about 5ml
@@JessicaAbella Thank you so much for replying! That is my problem. I’ve been using about 20-30 for each 😑
@@JessicaAbella5 ml for each color?
I love them. I love the colors you have chosen, I made them ..mine turned out ok ,I transferred them to soon ,the head was to thin on one of mine .. but definitely doing more of these guys ,thanks for sharing..
these are awesome-thank you for tutorial
Can I ask where you got your beads? I'm not having much luck.
Michael’s !
Are the smooth round?
@@pamkyllo51 yes!
@@JessicaAbella Do you have a pic of the beads? The ones I got don't seem right...
@@pamkyllo51 they’re like the half round half flat bead but you can really use any type!
I think the second batch looks like skulls popping out of the candy corn, more creepy. The first ones are more fun and cute.
I really love these, I am going to make them for sure!
I’m making custom things with this
They really are so cute! While the first ones look like candy corn ghosts the second ones look more like little lava ghosts!
I love these!! They are so cute 🥰
Thank you so much !
Did you use epoxy paste to color?
Awesome
nice work love it what size was the board and what did you put on your crystals to gave more of a shine please so wanna try till do one of these cause there beautiful
So friggin’ pretty!!
Thank you so much !!
looks good but she should have placed crystals first and drizzle resin over it while letting it dry and do the other parts after.
Beautiful 😍
Wow that is nice
Thank you!!
Love this
