The thing is that now in 2018/2019 people in Russia are trying to have a conversation with the government in a protest form, they just got tired of all the corruption and system itself that leads to poverty. The injustice is so frustrating... People cannot even choose a leader, bc all the elections are corrupted. The new pension reform that was launched by the government is not about helping people to live. Just a huge complex of reasons... I read a theory it was about him having a one-night stand with a man: what do u think of that? Can you see it in the lyrics at all?
I mean it's definitely not a thought that had previously crossed my mind. I feel that it's a song about being with your partner at an event full of people you don't want to be around, so you just think of the sex you're going to have after the event to make it bearable. He doesn't specify gender with what the song is about so anything is possible. As far as I am aware, he is heterosexual, but I believe any interpretation of the song can be correct based on what the listener feels.

This video is about his struggle between his ballet training/what everybody expects from him versus his passion/what he wants to be. He dances between this thin line, once he is a prodigy of ballet but also a rebel, and he suffers trying to balance both. But it's the suffering that makes him dance with such beauty. Maybe you already know that, but I'm so excited that one of my favorite dancers stars in a video of one of my favorite singers... Loved your reaction, I saw me in you :)
