I think oracle is better for the first season. I just think archon is easier and more fun for me to play personally. :D

@@markusbroeckling9008 Id definitely recommend trying both! Oracle feels a bit clunky but can have more payoff with the cooldowns it gives. But archon is more straight forward and provides a consistent cooldown window with halo and apotheosis.

Thankyou for watching! I don't really like how oracle plays. I find that having windows of waiting for a certain buff and then putting guardian spirit on yourself in order to spam yourself with heals to do AOE healing feels mega clunky and unfun. I like the visuals with archon and the healing increase of your flash heal procs is reliable. Oracle is still better in my opinion, just requires more thinking and a slightly different playstyle.

Thanks for watching! Honestly I don't really use many addons for my layout. Most of it is done using edit mode in wow. I mostly rely on the TWW dungeons weak aura for announcement of mechanics, I use littlewigs instead of DBM. Plater nameplates, OmniCD, GTFO, doom_cooldownpulse. @@Varay-lance So my cursor is a weak aura. I find it easier to see because its a larger circle rather than the small hand. The ring around it will move to indicate my cast and the time of the cast. If you're interested in getting it search ultimate mouse cursor weak aura into google and it should be the first link that shows up. I also use mouse over heals so i never really click on anyone to heal them, just hover over their party frame

Hello happy new year! I am excited for the holy changes. With lightweaver working with prayer of healing, I'm hoping it will give us a better access to aoe healing. I'm thinking more similar to a resto shaman with chain heal. I haven't looked through everything, as I'm bad at absorbing text information, but I'm really excited to see how it plays. I think it definitely will be more relevant in m+, however holy still lacks fundamental defensive abilities that make it sink a little. I also am not a fan of divine hymn in dungeons, I like it in raid but has always felt underwhelming in m+. Thanks for the comment :D

However in terms of raid, I'm sad salvation is going, I found it much easier and satisfying in raid content to use over apotheosis. But it looks like Divine hymn will put prayer of mending on some allies, so it will be like a salv light. Also, prayer of mending will be buffed, so that will help with aoe healing as well.

Oh, and the last thing I can think of is if we're working around prayer of healing being used more our mana will be eaten up so quickly. But if its a significant AOE healing option, it will be worth it.

I think devour is the heal absorb that can be dispelled? If so, it really isn't that hard to deal with imo. A lot of classes can self cleanse themself so i tend to prioritize healing up the absorption of people that cant take it off themselves.

Not a must have, I believe crit is technically better. I've just always vauled vers more, as we dont have a true defensive it makes me tankier

Hi, I keep my Holy tree talents the same always for m+. For the base tree, I use a different build if theres a dungeon that requires a disease dispell. But the talents i use should work at all key levels :D

Hello! The weak aura calling out aoe etc is called TWW dungeons. And the showing of abilites coming off cd is an addon called doom_cooldown pulse. I've tried oracle a couple of times, and just really didnt enjoy the playstyle, but I believe its still better in higher content as it can aoe heal a lot smoother. :)

Hi tysm! I don't actually use a lot of addons. Mostly Littlewigs, GTFO, weak auras. My biggest reccomendation is getting the weak aura called TWW dungeons and download the addon called SharedMedia_Causese for audio to play! Unfortunately YT deletes links but if you search TWW wa it should be the first one that comes up. :)

@Smellyshelly48 which dungeon you think duo paladins work? I mean I always believe that more paladins the better. I use all my abilities and my pug people never have their personal moments with the floor, lol.

@@Boss-ot1iy I think if you're running different specs of paladin its fine. And honestly duo ret can work fine too, however you generally want a comp that can bring different buffs and damage profiles to a key. But I do love me some ret off healing and utility + big aoe

The curses in this dungeon on top of the large aoe the golems do really hurt

We love archon holy, however it probably would benefit from some buffs in 5 man content

@Smellyshelly48 I do so well in 5 minutes as holy archon, if I got a buff it might even start feeling easy 😂 I kind of don't want them to buff it. I like how people are surprised how good I do as holy because they all think it's bad.

@@Smellyshelly48 so many healers are now going for these hybrid damage= heals builds. Such as holy pal, and most weaver. I'm more into traditional classic healing..holy fit that perfectly.

It barely heals, not really worth using a GCD on it. I mostly don it for out of combat healing

It wont be enough for aoe healing, however it is something so i cant complain

Honestly, I feel like if prayer of mending got a fairly large buff it would be great for aoe healing

I sometimes run fade talents, when I dont need a disease dispell. Although, sometimes I forget to change it. Although, dont really find it particularly necessary

Thanks! The second boss and some of the mini bosses can be a little more difficult because of how aoe bursty their damage is.

A tip i'd have is to try and max some haste out, weaving in heal flash heal should trickle a % of that heal to your last target and yourself which will technically do some aoe healing. But holy is mostly focused on topping people up singularly quickly rather than aoe healing unfortunately.

Kind of? You use heal only because of the talent lightweaver, so casting flash heal gives you a stack of lightweaver. Your holy word spells are still super important to use as well. Holy nova does good damage and renew isnt really used, i sometimes will use it out of combat while im moving to do very minimal healing

No special reason, I believe oracle will do more aoe healing, I just don’t find the play style fun.

Halo itself does poor healing, but the surge of light procs are pretty juicy. Damage is nice though. Plus I like the way halo looks
