SHUNT device for current measurement

a "SHUNT" device used for measure the current values for both circuits AC & DC. It's rated value mention like 400A/75mV or 200A/60mV . The voltage drop across the shunt are mV. So measure current flowing in circuit using shunt we measure voltage drop. And by simple Ohm's law we can calculate the current flowing in circuit. I=v/r.

LVD means "Low voltage disconnect". Two types depending on application. When used for load it is called LLVD "Load low voltage disconnect". When used for Battery Bank it called BLVD "Battery low voltage disconnect". These terms mostly used in telecom cell site. These contractors used in SMPS. Mostly the operating voltage is 48V DC. The set points for LLVD is 44V dc & for BLVD is 42V dc.

SMPS means "Switch mode power supply".It converts AC power into DC power. Used for telecom cell site for powering the telecom equipment loads like BTS, MW,Mux etc . And same time charge the Battery Bank(BB). Input voltage 230/415 v AC and output voltage is 40-58v regulated DC. It controls load voltage for smooth operation of dc equipment.

33kv electric sparking occurred on the out door isolator structure.The spark occurred on connecting rod and fixed contact. it was raining in night during video taken.that time a 33kv transformer was connected to same isolator.
