I just saw the video where your father wrote you that letter. I love tha fact that while it may sound harsh to many and cause you pain you understood the place it came from. I can criticize my parents but trust they love me and want the best for me. So glad this video came up as I hope your family can find some understanding. This is interesting, I’m a bit conflicted. There are things that i allow my friends to joke with me about bc we have that rapport. I wouldn’t allow a acquaintance to talk to me that way, and I would understand how I’d someone overheard the jokes amongst friends, it can be misunderstood as bulling without context. Now if I was secretly actually super hurt from those jokes but acting like I was fine, or if i reflected later on that those past friends and decided I didn’t actually like those jokes, my opinion might change but who is actually at fault?
