What a powerful topic! When you were talking about worshipping it occurred to me that there's a theory that says no one can feel fear while singing. I believe singing/music is a gift of God, a language we can use to be connected with Him. I truly felt the Holy Spirit's gentle touch as He (She) was telling me: "Come back, my daughter." Thank you for this wonderful conversation!
Eszter you hit two great observations! Worship creates room for the Spirit of God to connect you directly with the Presence of the Living God. It is an act that simultaneously invites Heaven down and sends waves of praise throughout every realm in the spirit! Worship is incense unto Jesus and God the Father, who are seated in the Highest place in the Heavenlies. There is no room for fear in the presence of perfect love like the Father's love for us! I love that in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, we see a complete picture of pure love. Like the Word of God says, a) a loving Father who gently disciplines out of a desire to steer us towards a life-giving way. b) Jesus, who showed ultimate obedience unto death on Earth to redeem the world though "we" hated and did not know of Him, and who now intercedes for us at the right of Majesty. c) And the Holy Spirit whose purpose is to make us one in spirit, mind, and heart with God, and has transformed our innermost part - our spirit - with His power.
