He must've heard a mouse fart😅
They can definitely hear a mouse fart, lol. Or a leaf rustle. Or anything and anything they might want to bark at.
Is it feasible to have a miniature horse without livestock guardian dogs in an area that has an active coyote population or would it be best practice to have LGDs?
That would depend on your setup. If you were home the majority of the time, had really secure fencing, and made sure the Mini horse was secured at night, he might be just fine. If he's pastured and alone a lot, he might not be fine. There are certainly ways to keep him safe without the dogs, but you'd have to consider what you were willing to do. Coyote proof fences can be expensive.
My sister has a GP and he's loving the cold weather we're having. Temps in the teens and he'll stay out in it all day.
They are the sweetest dogs 🐕 Thanks to our Great Pyrenees !! We call her ❄️ Snow
Hey, how are you
They are an ancient and exceptional breed. I miss mine terribly.
Thank you for making these videos. It is, by far, the best series on miniature horse care I have watched.
Glad they've been helpful for you. There should be quite a few more as Shadowfax absolutely loves to be filmed.
I love the videos of Shadowfax so much. He is precious!
He's one of the most precious creatures on the planet. He appreciates the support.
My pyre is only half pyre and sounds just like this!
Hello :) I like your videos. I am interested to know how I can breed blue eyed charlies, can you make a video on this?
I am going to be filming a rabbit color detective video of my blue-eyed charlie Tinsley in a couple weeks. But essentially, if you have a broken rabbit in your group and a blue-eyed rabbit of the opposite sex, you'd be able to breed blue-eyed charlies eventually. (For anyone reading this comment who doesn't know what a charlie is, it's a rabbit with a broken pattern, but with more white than color). You need to cross rabbits until you have have 2 copes of the broken gene, but only 1 copy of the Vienna gene. A blue-eyed rabbit bred to a broken rabbit has a decent chance of producing a blue-eyed broken. Breed that blue-eyed broken to another broken. The babies have a chance to inherit both the Vienna gene and 2 copies of the broken gene. The genes are independent of each other, so it might take a couple of crosses to get what you want.
@@andersenacres13 Sounds good! So fx a blue eyed white paired with a broken ?
@@mayasatchitananda4303 blue-eyed white with a broken will result in all babies carrying the Vienna, even if they don't have blue eyes.
@@andersenacres13 Will all be broken if the dad is and the mother is white?
"This isn't even about you. This isn't even his video" It is now. All that matters is that beautiful happy boy that loves kisses. 🥰
Our GP Gertie loves the smow❤
nice dog
I love where you live hobby farm looks great.,and enjoy watching your videos so thank you 😊
Glad you enjoy it! We love our place very much. We do have a lot of improvements to make and we're looking forward to getting started this year.
Omg…..feed her!!!!! Poor wee thing 😂
Poor, starving thing, lol. Never gets food, so thin...oh wait. She's actually very chonky, lol.
@ yes. I did notice that healthy belly 😂😂😂❤️
God bless you and your animals mam
Thank you!
Oh. Okay. Maybe not alllll the videos should be his….❤
All videos must be about Shadowfax, at least according to him, lol. Even videos of a bunny in the house must actually be about the Mini horse outside.
Surely you jest? Not his video???😂 all videos should be his videos 😂❤❤❤❤
My brother, ran across one of these pryanees in a shelter. They had shaved him down and he has thyroid troubles. He had a brother who someone adopted. He is 6 still young enough. My brother thinks he should adopt him...I say no way!! He lives in an association and says oh he is,somebody's pet a family dog! And he does t even have that big of a yard!! He thinks he can put up a fence in pen and keep him in that and walk him on a leash all the time. He doesn't know how these dogs are bred for guard dogs and are independent thinkers. He is used to only lap dogs. This dog had a brother both the same age. He thinks he can just have him in his, very small home all day take him on walks and he is 80 years old. This is not a good fit. Is there something you can put a video on the needs that these dogs have to have for this breed! Please 🙏
And on top that. His wife is very ill. I can't convince this is not what this dog needs.
Try telling him about the barking. Great Pyrenees bark all the time. All the time. It's part of how they do their job, but it's also one of the main reasons people in city homes end up getting rid of them. And most of the barking will happen at night. Because that's their instinct.
How do you keep them in your yard? We have a boy and girl g.p. and they have the exact attitudes as yours. But they will run to find things in the woods even if it's 3 properties over
We did a lot of boundary training when they were young. We walked the property over and over again, correcting if they went where we didn't want them to go. It took a year of boundary training to be sure they wouldn't roam too much. And even though we're sure they won't wander, they have GPS collars on. That way we'll be able to find them if they do chase something too far.
Cutie pie Jones ❤❤
I love black cats unfortunately lost mine
That cute goat has an iron will. lol
That goat honestly looks like they should be named Oreo
Absolutely gorgeous dog!!!!
I think so too!
So did this work?
Yes. It takes time and a lot of repetition every day, but boundary training eventually teaches them "this is where we stay".
Thanks for the tip. Great video you made. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for this video, im after this breed....
All the best
❤ absolutely 💯 Beautiful and so precious ❤thank you for sharing ❤I have a Great white Pyrenees name Thunder he too loves the Snow ❤
That's awesome
The video is so zoomed in all you can see is how fuzzy that horse is... So flippin cute OMG
He was trying to be so close to me I absolutely could not get a better shot of him, lol. He likes to snuggle and play, but it was just too cold for us humans.
@@andersenacres13 Awwwww! He probably wanted to keep you warm.
This breed is in my top 3. Love them. My Dom roosters are the sweetest boys.
At what turning degrees should the brinsea incubator be set at?
For turkey eggs I usually set it at 45°.
@ thank you
I’m so glad I found your videos! I have two pyrenees puppies. 12 weeks old! I need all the tips and tricks I can get.
You got this! Training can take time, but they're such lovely dogs.
What about egg laying
They're decent layers. Not super layers, but you'll get maybe 4 eggs per week per hen.
Pretty birds . Good information
Very Helpful! Thank you
Do thick shell eggs need more humidity than thin shells.?
I've not found that with chicken eggs, no.
@andersenacres13 Thanks!
Is thumper this species?😂😂😂😂😂
My gp loves the snow and rain and cooler weather. Awesome video love it made me smile 😊ty
What a beauty ❤
All you have to do is look at the comb. They have a rose comb
Beautiful ❤and precious I have one Named Thunder ❤he is my world 🎉❤
They're the most wonderful dogs. I'm glad you have your boy just like we have ours.

🙏😎
What about a 3 month old?
Thank you for the recipe!! I was looking for this specific recipe and you were the first one that popped up! I subscribed too! I hope you are doing well and have a happy New Year!
I'm so glad you found it! Happy New Year to you too!
It's joint get swallow and it feel pain on it arm and feel dry to
Excuse me I have a kid of goat which is just one month. It was healthy when it was born. But one day suddenly it get pain on it's one leg but slowly it seems on it's other legs too. But the mother or any ancestors of it doesn't seem such type of problem before
I would get the little one to a qualified vet. That's what I would do if one of my young goats had those symptoms.
This helps a lot since this is our first GP and we worry about her not wanting to go in at night or in the cold
She'll be okay. If she was cold, she'd definitely take steps to get warm. If she's just hanging in the cold, she likely isn't cold at all.
Nice looking ducks!
