Repairs to digger -- I'm with you there!! I have a Takeuchi and find the dealers to be crap. Ordered an engine oil drain pipe from Heads Motor Japan for £30 inc. shipping! The only place I could get it here was Germany, and they charged more than that without shipping. If you could be bothered to record your repairs I'm sure people would appreciate it, but I imagine that would be too much faff. For an outlay of £3k ? for the flail there is very little out there by way of advice, etc. Half dozen dubious testimonials at best. How did you chose that flail and why the hammers cos I thought they were for thick stuff not brambles etc.? Thanks for reply and vids.

Seams to work better mulching, coming from above Patting down to get rid of the long tendrils, then slewing left to right. Going first fron the side looked as if it was more difficult and got snagged in the hydraulics. Handy bit of equipment on a mini digger. Probably just leaf blow that path now and job done

It does - especially longer thicker stuff. Coming down on top then slewing and chipping it up finer. Like you say - quick blow of the mulch into hedgerow to decompose and that’s it. Saves a lot of manual labour and waste away.
