Val Thorens and three tourists.
When I have been missed the mountains long enough, I grab my skis and fly to the closest snow slope with family or my friends. The problem is, there are no any mountains here in my country. Just small hills. Maybe that is the main reason I try to find different places to put my skis on. Val Thorens (Tarentaise Valley, French Alps) is one of my favorites. Located at an altitude of 2300 m, is the...

Can you tell me anything about this climber? nationality? Date of incident? Extent of her injuries?

I deficienti montani!
This is why I would never do rock climbing. People are well aware of the risks and every climb could be your last.
When you are this slow. You don't go to mountain. It's dangourous for us.......
Hello @katrinmerisalu5662 I am writing to you from EITB Media, Basque Public Television (Spain). We would like to ask your permission to use your images for our news. We will quote the source. Thank you very much and we look forward to your confirmation. Thank you.
Did she die?
Was there in 1987 and 1989 in the summer. Not that many stones. It was fairly safe (no helmets no safety rope), even though it already was the most dangerous part of the climb. Back then only few stones came down from the people who were climbing on the right side after crossing. In this case it’s a rain of stones due to natural erosion I believe.
Well done! On thing I would like to add: Solvay is only for emergencies!
Err....high, steep, rocky, DANGEROUS. Just gotta be there eh?
How is she still alive? omg
Estonians
The real idiot is the guy with the green helmet closely in front.
Always happy to see dumb ppl doing something against over-population😂👋
Should have made a run for it not stayed in the middle
107 deaths here in 25 years.
Simple. Don’t cross it too late in the day when temperatures increase and melts the ice causing rock fall. Cross early in the morning when the mountain is frozen. Inexperience in the mountains is what causes accidents.
Il passaggio della morte.... è si continua a ridere e rischiare!!!
Could one of the pros share the best time to climb the Montblanc?
Wow
This is absolutely the dumbest mountain to climb in the entire world. To many people on it at all times. Guiding companies that employee idiots and take idiots. It just takes a few google searches to understand the shady practices the guiding companies use. To many people die on this mountain every year because of greed. So many other cool mountains in the Alps and around the world that are more challenging and much safer.
Hey Katrina, do you have an email address we can use to contact you regarding your Rock Collapse video? I'd love to discuss a license to use it if possible! Cheers, Felix
J'espère finir mes jours en montagne
shut up Karen
Thank you. Now I know what to do in case got myself trapped in it.
its Snowing!
STAY down! - Only one communicator .. what is wrong with people?
I love the mountains but only complete idiots climb this route. If you're unlucky, it rains stones for hours and you're trapped.
Been there 3 years ago. We had luck we didn't have such a situation. 😢
Dear Katrina, did you take this Video? Please let me know who own the rights. Thank you. Best regards, Mona
2:43 she's being hit by rock.
Get me out of there!
He's not dead ?
so why do you go there in the first place?hoping for a rock fall but please don't hit me ?
Horrible video and reaffirms why I am glad Scotland offers fantastic winter climbing without the same objective dangers as the bigger ranges.
Very lucky a 700 pound Boulder didn't turn her ass into mincemeat
Show the start but not the end.
Find another hobby please
Impressive how the helmet save her from a rock hit. Very important the use of a helmet. In my opinion, that crossing should be avoided, too much exposure, an alternative route must be taken, it doesn't matter if takes more time.
i would forbid going to such places and add a catch-if someone breaks the law and go, he's gone. no search parties , jeopardysing more people , etc.. he's just gone
Well...someone wasn't behaving themselves, and it wasn't the climbers in this case.
why was she moving so slow in the beginning? She didn't move at all
When you cross the couloir you need to run, this person was particularly slow. I cross it early in the season loaded with snow and also late on the season which is uncover and very expose, a lottery. Im glad this person is fine
