Drikung Rinchen Choling is founded in 2009 by Venerable Lama Thubten Nima under the direction of H.E. Garchen Rinpoche. The Center is supported by private donation and is open to the public. The Center strives to provide free teaching to the public so students will be able to attend events without financial burden.
Currently, Drikung Rinchen Choling holds weekly practice on Sunday mornings :
Stretching - 9:15 to 9:30 am
Meditation - 9:30 to 10:20 am
Amitabha practice - 10:30 to noon
Yamantaka group practice - 2:00 pm (2nd Sunday of each month)
From time to time, Drikung Rinchen Choling holds special events and invite teachers to give special instructions to the public.

Five fold Path of Mahamudra 大手印五支道 14 of 23
Drupon Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche will give a teaching on the special preliminary of Five Fold Path of Mahamudra: Loving Kindness, Compassion, and Bodhicitta. These are the foundation of all practices, especially Mahamudra. It will be very beneficial for all to attend this important teaching.
Drupon Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche is an accomplished yogi and Mahamudra meditation master. He was born in Rusar in Nagchu State of the Tibet. At the age of 18, he entered Tana Monastery, where he studied with Gelong Yeshe, who was a disciple of the great Pachung Rinpoche. In 1993 he arrived in India and Jangchub Ling Monastery near Dehra Dun, where he continued his studies for an additional three years, after which he began his first 3-year retreat on the Five-fold Path of Mahamudra and the Six Yogas of Naropa at Drikung Kagyu Dorjee Ridrubkhang in Almora, near the India/Tibet border. He continued in retreat for another year at Tadopani in Nepal, and then he went to Lapchi, where he remained in retreat for another 3 years in Singchampok (Lion) cave, one of the caves Milarepa himself used for long-term retreats.
Drupon Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche is currently the resident retreat master for the three year retreatants at the Garchen Buddhist Institute in Chino Valley, Arizona. I absolutely rejoice at 1:01:44 to 1:02:12 where Tilopa Chosdrug ( de ltar yang tai los : mi mno - mi bsam - mi shes ( mi sem is audible in the video) shing - mi sgom - mi dpyad - rang sar bzhag ) has been mentioned . In some texts there are slight variations as to the actual wording of the Tilopa Chosdrug ..... It occurs in the Perfection of Transcendental Wisdom chapter ( sherab kyi pharol tu chinpa ) of Gampopa's Dhagpo Thargyen ( Ornament of Precious Liberation ) . Great is Gampopa who so compassionately revealed the Tilopa Chosdrug in his Ornament of Precious Liberation ( Dhagpo Thargyan ) . May all interested in studying Dhagpo Thargyan NEVER neglect this ( the Tilopa Chosdrug ) .
