The problem with ancient gear is that it is a go second deck. This means anyone who wants to play it has to justify not just playing tenpai instead (not anymore deck is dead)

Maxx C can be negated tho via another infamous card, Ash Blossom. As long as your opponent doesn’t have a Called By at the ready of course… which can also thwart Maxx C. So based on that alone, I think it might return but be limited to 1 per deck.

Maxx C îs becoming the card that your opponent will use on their own turn, or immediately on your turn after their combo, so they gain access to their entire deck. As much as I wish it would come back, it's far too toxic in the TCG compared to OCG. MD has proven that it cannot be used healthy, because when it gets used after a player sets up their board breaker combo, they just use it to get into their 23 hand traps so that you can't combo as well as your opponent has. Fuwalos luckily has balanced out this problem, now all Konami needs to do is common print this card so I don't need to buy the OCG version of this card

Painful Choice, Confiscation, and Sentry can come back limited to 1 actually. Because the truth is, you can't exactly search for these cards. The only way you could search them is off of Thrust, and Sentry and Confiscation off of Thrust is invalidated by the fact that you could also search Tactics. As for Painful Choice, it's really not all that different from using Grass. Which is also at 1. Foolish 4 get 1, vs. Dump 25+ cards to grave. It today's meta both effects are comparable. The reason why its fine is cause you can't search any of these cards, so the duels where they'd come up would be so rare, most people wouldn't run them anyway. They can all come off the banlist limited for sure imo. The modern game is just too consistent for these to matter.

I get the prosperity but if you were playing an extra deck based deck and any monster in your deck can lead you to the said extra deck tools prosperity is 1 less card than greed and costs you almost half of your extra deck prosperity is a very deck dependent card all though alot of players took the neg to the extra deck so they can run this card regardless shows how powerful it is and how useful the extra consistency to the side deck cards this card have resulted in ON THE OTHER HAND where is mystic mine and why the tcg hasn't banned it yet?
