We people haven’t changed much, and of course glasses have to fit the faces of humans. So yes, where design is concerned, there are a Lot of restrictions, I get that. But still, when I watch videos like this, I can’t help thinking that glasses design hasn’t evolved much for the last 40-ish years. Yes, of course the materials are a much better quality these days, but still, the glasses shown here are Not that different from what I have seen 40 years ago, and I have to admit that I find that very frustrating. Nothing surprises me, nothing shocks me, everything seems just “same old”, called “retro”…….. Just to give you an idea what I mean, How about getting rid of the arms resting on the ears, use a head-band instead, and what about improving those horrible nose-rests, surely there has to be a different way….??? Frames that are held in place by a thin band directly over the head……?? I know that was done with some sports glasses back in the 80’s, cycling glasses I believe, but never to be seen again…..??

I love them so much! The first pair is similar to the one I wore on our first date when me and my boyfriend began dating. He complimented them at least five times during the date and I was smiling and blushing the whole time. The second pair is similar to a kind I might wear on a girl's night out or what I would wear at a county fair. Third pair is like what I might wear on New Year's Eve since they look colorful and festive. I get my sunglasses preloved or on clearance so I'm able to save tons of money. I can get a $400 pair for $50, and if I detect a hint of cosmetic damage (only in an inconsequential place like on the sides where my hair covers them) I've gotten them for as cheap as $8 after pointing out the damage.

I wear sunglasses all the time (imagine if Anna Wintour was a 27 year old girl from New Hampshire to give you an idea of how often I wear mine). So for me wearing sunglasses in winter comes naturally. In fact, I'm wearing a really cute pair right now (even though I'm at home and the sun set an hour ago). I'd even wear sunglasses north of the arctic circle during polar night when the sun doesn't rise. Some of my friends tease me for wearing sunglasses all the time, but wearing them makes me happy.
