DIY Yakamran Sailing Catamaran
DIY guy had 2 matching kayaks…a little welding , a little seaming, and soon I could. Paddle separately with wife or joined with blind father (75yrs) … stable enough to stand up in but comfy reclined seats and cup holders make for easy by sMiles . No fasteners into kayaks. Rig snaps on with no tools… dismount in :05min or so to paddle singles again… still work in progress but pretty good so far.

Blind Skipper relaunches childhood pond yacht after 70yrs

Despite having no sight at all, Don Wigent born 1945 sailed several Victorian model pond yachts as a child in Detroit, including a 1900-1915 gaff cutter shown here being relaunched after 70 yrs. Over those 70years he has sailed not just models but also his own 20-40 foot personal sailboats, and he even served as helmsman on the 50ton square rigged ship Elizabeth II out of Manteo NC.

In 2004, Two BMX riders in Greenville NC (ProTownUsA) built the worlds 1st Cassette Hub capable of Crankless fakies by manipulation of the pawls using a clutch and cam disk... Contracted to Haro and built in Taiwan.. it is the father of numerous new hubs released since. No school like the MidSchool :)
