"Keep your eye's wide the chance won't come again." That line so perfectly sums up our current moment: If Trump and his wanna-be dictators are not stopped now, the chance will not come again. Surely not in our lifetimes and perhaps never. Wake up, America!
Ma Sinéad, je t'aime à toutes les époques de ta vie, tu es restée la plus belle âme que la terre ait portée. Je vis avec toi tous les jours je t'aime infiniment ❤❤❤
She said it herself, she was a rebel protest singer, not a pop singer. She loved Bob Dylan, and she was an amazing songwriter herself, not just an incredible singer, artist 💕
I'm still grieving even though it has been more than two months. I realized after her death that I wasn't just a super fan of Sinéad going back to when I heard her for the first time at age 16. I realized that I am her acolyte, and she my spiritual mother, the Universal Mother. She has done as much for me to influence my approach to life, my compassion for others, and my desire to still be here on this crazy earth as anyone else I have actually known. She rests in glory: Sister, Mother, Friend, Lover, Teacher, Prophet. Shuhada Sadaqat. Thank you.
Joan Baez saved Dylan's arse/ gig when the folk folks wanted to boo him off with.his electric guitar Hr skulked & hid when Kris Kristooherson supported her at Dylans do...Disgraceful She sang War a cappella onr v's thousands of prace protestore turned viscious memtal peasants by truth
I am quite a but older than Sinéad and I come from the same town in Ireland. She had a very complicated personlity but was a gentle soul and very down to earth. I don't think she herself understood Sinéad. The tragic death of her son Shane broke her spirit and made her even more unafraid of death. Suaimhneas síorraidhe a Shinéaid. Beidh tú i n-ár gcroidhe go deo na ndeor. Ní bheidh do leithéid ann aríst. Ba fhíor Gheadheal thú a Shinéaid agus go dtreoraidhe na déithe thú. Go codladh tú go sámh le do mhac Séan. 😢🇮🇪
Its incredible that Sinead was able to summon the courage to perform so well give the assaults on her finances, weight (lithium) appearance , body and mind by the criminally careless misogynistic ineptitude of the Irish Medical & psychiatric proffessions. She had escaped to better care in London but couldnt settle there because of her prioritizing her kids/shared custody arrangements that tied her to Ireland for longer than was good for her given the obvious lack of evolved care for Women available in Ireland(scandalous horror stories abound!!) Covid and lockdowns further disrupted her care, her creativity and her ability to restore her earnings from sold out tours. She was just resurfacing in London with a new album and a tour planned which would have been the best time in her professional life - so sorry she didnt get the chance, she more than deserved it.
how different her life would have been if she had chosen to sing a dylan song at his 30 th anniversary concert. She really messed that up and it cost her big time.
I think the Vatican should beatify Sinead/Shahuda. She earned it. Doesn't matter if she converted to Islam, Christianity has borrowed from other cultures/religions before for their saints. It would be great PR for the pope. She did often speak of a close relationship with the holy spirit.
As time has passed I believe Bob Dylan's lyrics we,re more empty words on his part than conviction Sinead you sung it as though you meant it God bless you and wrap you in his arms
wow
Sinead e Bob juntinhos para o nosso coração emocionar. 🇧🇷
A beautiful and tortured soul who left far too soon.

This is bloody brilliant. Best version of this song!!!
Junto a Janis..Lo mejor del mundo.Ellas dos..❤❤❤❤

She became Muslim later. Alhamdulilah❤

She was truly great ❤️
I have never understood how anyone likes Bob Dylan. His voice is for the deaf. She is what this song has been waiting for!
That Rikenbacker guitar was also used by Tom Petty

Sadly I did not know who this was until her death. A beautiful, powerful voice. RIP lovely lady.

I hope she's found peace ,,she found very little when she was alive ,god bless her
Ugh. In this posturing she is no more than (resentful )alt-pope.

A prophet in our time. You were right Sinead but we weren't ready.
Spacelook? Too ashamed or cowardly to use your real name?
how different her life would have been if she had chosen to sing a dylan song at his 30 th anniversary concert. She really messed that up and it cost her big time.
No she didn't mess up
SHE WASN'T CRAZY and That's why she didn't fit in THIS CRAZY PLACE 😎🤗✌️❤️
They're changing all right: for the worse. No matter how much you saw the air thus.
2 greatest female singers ever are Sinead and Janis.don't ask me to choose
😍😍😍
Your sons and your daughters are beyond your command. Sinead was beyond command ,didn't make her crazy just inquisitive, nothing wrong with that.

Before she had a crew cut? Her beautiful voice is ubiquitous.
A much, much better singer than I had thought. RIP Sinead.
One of the greatest vocalists ever recorded.
Bob loved it. Trust me.
He never even heard it. Trust me. He's heard it all a thousand times before.
As time has passed I believe Bob Dylan's lyrics we,re more empty words on his part than conviction Sinead you sung it as though you meant it God bless you and wrap you in his arms
grief has blinded you if you think dylan doesn't understand his words, maybe you're thinking of the way he sings to the way sinead sings
Just because she shouts and waves her arms about means nothing. Just performative. Song is a joke to begin with.
RIP Sinead if there's a heaven as we believe you are there
