I appreciate your effort and your passion for the mower you are pushing, but a model name/number would have made your opinion mean something. No Problem. I appreciate your comment my friend. I didn’t try to be so specific. It’s better to keep videos as short as possible you know. The attachment on my Allett real mower is called a De-Thatcher by that brand. . Once a month during the growing season I use it to get rid of the left over clippings that become thatch that I mulch all month. You can call it clippings, organic mulch Or thatch. It’s still left over material that blocks your soil from receiving water, Sun light and anything that you throw down in granular form to nourish your grass or soil. Using the clippings as an organic mulch or another source of nitrogen is mostly done in cool season grasses. I have Bermuda so a lot of left over clippings that become thatch is not a good thing because Bermuda lays more like a blanket instead of like your hair on your head in cool season grasses. It will promote fungus and disease in Bermuda….So I remove it.
