Towers has become awful have a platinum pass and try getting a Rap pass now is barely impossible. Pointless paying for a platinum pass without it.

Other 2 were very expected to close, but the blade is the one I think they are making a mistake with, it’s one of the oldest rides at the park yes but why literally put in a brand new topspin but then take out a flat ride! That’s why I think they basically have to replace it with a pirate ship or like something that fits in there because like they need it

Not gonna lie, dont care for any of the 3 rides being removed, personally... but it will leave gaps in the lineup that will need filling asap!

I said it once and il say it again, they are removing Blade for Thunder Looper 2 because they love reintroducing rides!

I'd like to think they have a plan for the whole area, including Project Horizon. As you say, it's looking very sorry for itself. With Merlin Magic Making leaving the park, that would free up even more space around the back. Imagine a total demolition and rebuild with numerous under cover attractions suitable for year round use. Would be nice to have rides not affected by a bit of rain! 😂 Looking at the frontage of Horizon, it's set a long way back from the current street frontage. If the disused theatre and other buildings on that side were demolished with a new frontage built further back, to be inline with Horizon it would be far more cohesive. There's enough space for a number of indoor attractions around the back and there would be a huge plaza in the middle for attractions and entertainment. Just my day dreamings! 😂

I have a theory… if Chessington is going ahed with the new Minecraft area, monkey swinger, jungle bus, and tuk tuk termoil will be taken out and of wild Asia and stored somewhere. What if one of those rides (maybe monkey swinger) goes to Alton towers with a new theme?

Alton Towers will never be the same without these three rides that are leaving the park.

I have a soft spot for air/galactica it was my first coaster at alton towers but haven't ridden it since 2016 I hope it gets the much needed TLC it sorely needs and it gets rethemed to the phalanx that'll be a bonus

If they did get rid of galactica, what would you like to see replaced? I think it would be great to see a coaster to fit in well with the nemesis reborn story!
