One team played football, the other just got Adam Lund to hurl the ball into the penalty area from any throw-in in the opposition’s half then hoped to win the second ball. Alfreton have reached the play-offs in the last two seasons so it obviously works for them, but it must be painful to watch every week.

Alfreton squandered *a lot* of chances in the first half. Chester scored with their first chance and first shot. Chester finished the game the stronger of the two teams. All in all, I thought a draw was a fair result. Alfreton could have edged it if they were more clinical.

Brakes should have held on but a draw was ok. We hit the bar as well, it was s very good game of football. Two good managers. Two good teams a draw was fair. Paul has said the same as Bill and we had a very good second half. The referee was fair in all honesty and he favoured nobody. He was picky but it was equal both ways.
