if you have the budget, opt for tein / HKS... used that is because these bad boys retail for more than 5K new. if you're planning to buy new within budget, Mines is ok halfcut in good condition around 2.5K below depending condition and who is selling currently own a 1.8 inspira as well CVT. am doing mods slowly as i need budget so seeing your content, knowing im not alone lol, keep up the good work and maybe we can touge together since you look like you're in selangor 👍

Nope, still pretty affordable since it's just a muffler and resonator delete
you will feel on higher rpm where the engine wants more air, anyway using drop in performance air filter also saves you money because its washable but the downside is you need to clean your throttle body more often since it doesnt catch dirt that well so your throttle body gets dirtier faster than the standard filter.

I thought the oil on the surface will catch dirt. That is why it washable and needs to reoil it . Use it for few years but not much dirt o the TB . Thanks for your writing as well.
Tuning is not required for now as there are sensors to monitor and correct the air fuel ratio . Some restrictions taken away reducing the vacuum in the intake thus allowing that little bit extra volume of air to rush in during the intake stroke . 👍

my car - Subaru XV GT 2023 For me a lot improvement. Because I like to challenge the engine at low rpm. Here's the improvement after drop in filter 1- throttle responsive improved a lot. Almost immediately feedback when u step on it. The lag/delay drop like 80 to 90%. 2- the power prolong longer than before especially during slowing down. Can the feel the power not so fast cut off. 3- every weekend after cold start I will go to a short uphill and every time there's hiccup at low rpm. Maintain the accelerate level also same issue. But after drop in air filter, it is so damn smooth up to hill without giving more accelerate. Hiccup drop like 90%.
