Thank you for this tutorial, Miranda. Can you explain your choice of blue diamonds? Are blue diamonds symbolic of something in Celtic myth?
Simple answer is that it looks cool. This is more of a fantasy take than a historical one. I don't believe embroidery is very common in historical viking clothes, but diamonds do appear in the form of diamond twill in historical viking textiles.
Love that person behind the camera specifies "aim for the belly button" on that low stab, because we know people will funnel back, exactly where that stab will end up, and we're all going to start calling that move the "Meat Spin" after they dodge using the classic "meat funnel"

I really like those same sword side spins, seem like they would be real hard to pull off though.
You rarely throw a spin naked, you spend a bit of time setting it up.
