Port of Sunderland
United Kingdom
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 10 ส.ค. 2021
Port of Sunderland is owned and operated by the Sunderland City Council and is one of the UK’s leading municipal ports with a deserved reputation for providing first class port handling services.
Positioned at the heart of the North East coastline, the port is just minutes from open sea providing a gateway to the world. Its accessibility from sea teamed with excellent road, rail and air links, makes the port ideally placed for import and export projects.
The port’s real estate consists of a 265 acre site situated on the south side of the River Wear and the port regularly handles commodities such as steel; wood pulp; construction materials; aggregates etc.
Recent developments within the port’s estate have included the progression of infrastructure enabling works to deliver two ‘shovel ready’ development sites comprising 20 acres of Enterprise Zone approved areas with recently reinstated rail connectivity.

Very sensible. Can't be too careful especially in tidal water
This thing looks totally out of scale looking at it from the glass centre the river is quite thin and and your looking up at it when you look down you think I wonder how it’s not sitting on the bottom The aircraft carrier was a cracking example Looks really mad
Seen this from sand point was unbelievable you feel a bit anxious watching
Plug in and play taken to a new level ;)
Cool video I like this point of view I have watched a lot of ships come in from the glass centre side
