Actually just purchased this kit, primarily to go thru the kit and add and/or subtract components! It’s a hobby more than anything, but when I finish the changes and upgrades, I will gift the kit to a family member or friend. Great review man! Thanks!

So, my 7-in one spork thing was not from the Gordon kit. What surprised me was it could sharpen to a decent edge, and it also held the edge better than I thought it would, so it has some hardening and tempering to it. As I mentioned in another post the spork worked better as a farro rod striker than the striker that comes with most farro rods. The knife part of the spork can make a feather stick that you can ignite with the farro rod so I think that it would be good paired with a farro rod. You have to be careful where you put your limps to get the whistle to make a decent sound. The spork thing has a bottle opener. Personally, I would have rather had a can opener on it. I have not attempted to mod the end to see if the bottle opener can be turned into a can opener. If you are going to use the pointed end of the knife on the spork to open a can, bring something to sharpen it. You will need to do that after you are done.

You can use some of the para cord to tie the survival kit to the bottle carrier so you can carry the kit on your belt. I believe the credit cart tool has a can opener on it. If you are going to toss out the credit card tool thing replace it with a P-38 or P-51 can opener. Add other fire making methods. It is not a gordon one but I have one of the knife spork things. I found it makes a better farro rod striker than the ones that normally come with the farro rods.

I bought one. It’s a great knife for the money. The more I deployed it the smoother it got. I recommend this. Cheers!

I get it..... Temu is very enticing with their low prices. The reason, however, that they can charge those low prices is that almost everything they sell is a low-quality knock-off. The primary goal of Temu is to get people to buy stuff using their app. Then the app will scour your device and social media for any info they can find on you. Advice: DO NOT USE TEMU!!!!
