I listen to a lot of audio books. One thing is for sure. The one reading it makes all the difference. I won't listen to computer voice. I've probably turned off some good books because of this. Just can't get into it.

Does he really have to say,"he said ,she said and I said " after each sentence? Other than that it's very enjoyable .

This one is definitely incomplete. When it starts skipping like a CD.

🤣🤣🤣 oyster cards , mollusc. That made me giggle . Must ask for a mollusc card For visitors to London . If you are staying a while and going a bit of traveling around London they may be worth it but generally I think it is only worth getting one if you are a regular user of London transport for discounts etc

The editing in this recording is extremely poor. So bad as to interfere with quality of listening experience. EVERY chapter has stuttering at the end. No smooth transition btwn chapters. Ans then there’s the annoying techno music. Why that is part of this and part 1 recording is beyond me.

This is working out perfectly for me. I drive alone all night long. Typical shift is 11 hours. I've been streaming a great public radio station out of Boone NC, but decided to try something different. Not disappointed at all. The narrator has some unusual voice inflections. Kinda reminds me of Dick Estelle on Radio Reader (Yeah I'm THAT OLD).

That was a nice twist at the end.

I really never knew what Reacher was supposed to look like. Till i listened to one of these books. And the new Reacher series on Prime. Tom did a pretty good job i think. Reacher series on Prime was better.

And what tf is with the music ? Is it a North Korean plot to take over the world by making everyone depressed? Or maybe a call for help?

“bullet-point” narration…… He sounds like he’s reading the outline to a book instead of the book itself. • I unzipped my fly. • I peed in the bucket. • I am quite clever. • ninjas might be waiting. • ninjas are silent. • also I’m a ninja.

Could not finish. Reading is bad, the writing is less than serviceable. Forget about any logical underpinnings. Mediocrity at its finest. Not surprising these are popular. 🙄
