My dad had the store assemble his but it's not working right and it appears to be d/t how the 3 springs were installed. He's taken them out and is trying to put them in correctly but the instruction manual doesn't show the 3 springs at all much less where they go. Can you tell me where and how you put them in? Maybe even post a picture??

Definitely a work truck 😂. These older Fords seem to last forever. Especially with the F-150’s and the Explorers and Expeditions.

When I was a young man, the old timers taught me that those Detroit's were designed to be run wide open, all the time. "Don't pussy foot around with that machine boy! Make it do work!" Well...that somehow developed into end of the work week "Scraper Races", across the flat bottom of the landfill that I worked at. And even when something did break, it was super simple to replace, (provided you had a boom lift for the heavy stuff). Terex Pit trucks were beasts too. Got damn I miss that job and those machines. I really did have some sort of feelings for them.

Got to work around ts32 tandems in 1979. Got to run ts24s in 1981. Ears are still ringing😂
