Spinning Stories: We're All Doing It
Republicans, Democrats, history, kids, poetry- were all either spinning stories or taking them in. How are you spinning yours? Do you have some that need to be cleaned out of your head like I did in "Clean Sweep" (from In Your Bones)? What will take their place? How do we tip the scales towards more of the words that desperately need to be seen and heard, as well as spoken? How will you spin your story??

Your words matter more than you know!! Consider giving some away- the kind that will tip the scales toward the ones we all deserve to hear (but not as road rage...the other words the people in your life need from you). Or consider finding some words that you need. Sometimes (often) we don't even tell ourselves what we need to hear!
