One of my first characters for AOR was an Elomin Engineer/Sapper,a ton of fun! Made a Shistavanen Spy/Infiltrator and can’t wait to play him again. I also made a Kyuzo Seeker/Executioner.

We reference that book a lot lately while our group got into more ship focus events and hijinks. Also, the special tables in this and other expansion books that provide alternate advantage/threat results are especially good and allow for greater immersion for the events they are tailored to.

If any one is still having trouble with that chest right after you come up from that cone of light in the spike area with the grass you light the torch and that bird lamp falls down you follow that path in the video I hope it helps it’s the area just after you open that secret tunnel and go through the spike trap area

Having learned about the setting by some Lore videos, this game really appeals to me. Nice video, my dude. This does seem like it's designed for relatively short campaigns. As for the movie adaptation, no. Hollywood can only make a good movie by accident these days. :P Keep up the groovy work! :D

Coyote & Crow is my first and only TTRPG and I actually didn't think the character creation process was that complex when I did it for the first time. Maybe thats bc I had no point of reference to compare it to, but after I got over the initial overwhelming feeling, I really enjoyed the process. The worksheets they provide are really helpful! Your video was very thorough and I am glad to have it for my friends and students who are interested in getting started.

I am very much enjoying this series. While you are not the first person to do a review of these books I like how you cover them. You are in-depth enough and give a good idea of what is contained within so I know which ones are higher priority to buy for me and my players.

seems very rules-heavy for a "universal" rules system. Archetypes work well for DnD but they seem really clumsy for a generic setting. will probably stick with FATE or Marvel Multiverse.

Great review. It's a beautiful book but wow is it dense. I keep thinking of snagging this but I don't think I'd ever have a player-base patient enough to play it. I think if someone is making a mech game they should just accept that it's not possible to make it "rules lite."
