Every once in a while you meet people that are just different. They have a moral compass that seems to guide them through anything life can dish out. It's a rare breed of people that look at the small things and chooses and have peace in them. Dell City might be one of last places where grit and determination still grows. God bless these folks for just looking at every day as something to conquer. Vulneratus non Victus!

The woman in the purple shirt is my Grandma Bonnie. She passed away of lung cancer some years ago. I missed her voice.
my daughter lives in Dell City-she married into the Lewis family this past January--fell in love with the area while I was there for the wedding
Hi everyone I don't know if you all remember me but I used to live their I miss so much I lived in the horse pens at Rogers Owens my friends were jaunita biaza I worked their house cleaning and the fields and as a rach hand building fence. Rounding cattle

How are things in Dell City? Looks like the kind of place I'd want to live.
So is there still water there? I want to dig for a shallow water well about 25 ft. I pray that is possible!
I've got some acreage where 162/80 intersects highway 1111, and I believe the water table is much deeper, perhaps 100's of feet. If you learn different, let me know, I'd appreciate it. Thank you
@@poopypuppyproductions3276 I have heard the water table is much deeper too, but I am praying that our Heavenly Father will provide me with water. I plan to go down there and look around and take my water well drilling equipment with me. I bought the dowsing rods and I will have a look. I plan to move down there whether I can hit water with a shallow well or not. I plan to use rain barrels also. I have a 50-gallon water container and my RV holds about 60 gallons of water as well. Maybe I could take a look on your parcel too if you want. Maybe there is a shallow source on your land if not on my own. Who knows.
@@alanj399 One of the larger farmers in the Dell City Metro area made a recent video and made the comment of the rare but sometimes 20 foot wells. My land is just North of the 162/80 at 1111 intersection. The 50 acres to my south has a well for cattle. I use 330 gallon IBC totes for water storage. They are pretty cheap and a few of them store about a thousand gallons. GOD bless you and good luck.
