Clarification on Universal pre-k topic below- Superintendent Rehman said in the meeting that only 70 out of the 90 seats were being used. Rabbi Hasan said at the meeting that HANC was offered 10 of the unutilized seats and HANC was only able to accept 1 seat at this time. At this point in time grant money for 19 pre-k students has not been allocated and if it remains that way past March 12th, over $100,000 will be forfeited to the state.

hello I would like to know if anything is going to get done to halls pond, ive been to many parks in the area and I have never seen a park that looks as bad as that park. hempstead lake state park looks so much nicer than our park. I have lived in West Hempstead for over 35 years and has never looked that bad. please let me know if there is someone to call but something needs to be done . and one more thing, that park is the first thing you see when you enter West Hempstead . thank you Keith waters
