How to Crochet a Ribbed Border Easy Single Crochet Ribbed Border
#crochet #crochetforbeginners #crochettutorial
Hi crochet friends!
In this video I'll show you how to make an easy and beautiful border. This blanket border is super simple, all you need to know is how to make a single crochet, placed in the back loop. I put this border on my Cluster Stitch Baby Blanket. The original blanket had a single crochet and double crochet mixed border. Honestly, I think I like this one better!
This ribbed border can be used for all kinds of things! You can add a border to your sweaters, hats, scarves, you name it! Learning to make a crochet ribbing is a foundational skill that will be a game changer for your crochet projects!

My power was out and I was bored. I had a HUGE stash of yarn...

It's actually two layers, just both are purple 😊

I'm gonna start crocheting soon and I want this to be my very first project!!! Just a quick question, how many koozies can you make with one ball of Sugar N Cream yarn? I too will be using this brand because it just looks so pretty.

You'll get two for sure. If you have a kitchen scale you can weigh your finished koozie. Then, divide that number into the total weight of your yarn. That should tell you how many you can make 😊

Thanks for the tutorial. I like the two different sides. Just wondering, why are you hiding the magic circle yarn ends when you can just do a knot and they will end up in middle after the two sides are crocheted together?

Just habit. I like hiding my ends so they don't work their way through the outside as easily.
