I was a teacher for 14 years and now I'm a substitute teacher and I truly appreciate all of the detailed lesson plans, copies, read alouds, and all of the organized lesson plans that the teachers leave for me when I sub. Great job doing this for your sub and I can't wait to hear about the wedding!

My comment has bothered me since I posted it. Please do not take it personally. It is from personal experience in a co-teaching setting. The regular ed teacher was called out by a student, and it has always remained with me. You have such a gentle spirit that your students will respond and respect your calming nature. So please forgive me if I came across being too forward about the paperwork. I taught middle school, and students are more aware of their grades.

Your students are going to have the best room and teacher you are a great teacher and care for your students❤

Everything looks great. However, I would be careful allowing students handling other students' papers, such as graded papers, papers from the office, lunchroom, SPED, etc. These are confidential. I did not permit my students to grade, pass out, or file papers in folders due to confidentiality. Also, students did not call out their scores in front of the class after checking homework. Papers were passed forward with names and scores faced down. I was very particular about this. Being a SPED and ESL teacher in a co-setting makes these students very vulnerable to unnecessary comments and repercussions from students and parents.

I love your calm and kid friendly classroom. Everything in it seems to have a purpose....too often I see classrooms that are decked out with stuff and decore but lose sight of the kids...lol... Have a wonderful school year!

I love your videos and just a little tip. I don’t know if you’ve ever used or done those Dino eggs before, but I have done them with the kids at Nanny and it can get really messy. I would definitely suggest doing it outside!
