Howler Honey consists of vocalists/multi-instrumentalists Matt Wayne and Julianne Jean. “Matt and JuJu” met through neighborhood friends when they were kids in Southern CA in the late 90’s. Becoming friends over the years, each a part of musical projects and bands on their own, they finally teamed up as music partners in 2011 and became life partners in 2012. They have created multiple projects together since then, leading them to create the music duo, Howler Honey - a sound best described as slacker jazz songwriting with sultry melodies, and a dirty, alt-indie, neon lit psychedelic atmosphere that they like to call “California Noir”.
Howler Honey's sophomore album, "Casa De Bernardo" will be out on April 26th, 2024
