I pray this fixes it !!!!

Just found this vid after issue with my '98 C180. Driving and just died, crank no start, no usual fuel pump buzz when ign turned on. The relay doesnt have a fues on it like that one, just normal relay, I just pulled.it out, put back in, wriggled it a bit and started.. so now Im not sure if its the relay or plug connections. Maybe contact cleaner spray in there? Could also be pump fail when warm it cooled down and worked, not hot weather btw.

If you don't want to buy another gasoline cap you can put a wide rubber band on the inside of the cap to get a better seal.

Thank you for sharing, I think it was around 2000, I was working as a carpenter at Mt Hotham resort during the summer on a major construction project. It was a Monday morning at around 5 am and I was driving up to Hotham to start work. It is a very winding road and at points very steep. At some point I noticed a light that was reflecting from what thought must have been inside the car on to the passenger side window. I began moving any objects that I could see that may be able to reflect any light within the car, to no avail. This began to annoy me so after from memory approximately 5 minutes I pulled over took off my seatbelt leant over and wound down the passenger side window, thinking “there that will get rid of the distraction!” I proceeded to drive off, expecting to look over with satisfaction that the light would be gone, I was shocked to see it still there. It was just a split second it took me to process the fact that this light was indeed outside the car and was travelling along side me for the last 5-10 minutes! It was at that moment of realisation that it just took off so fast that I basically lost sight of it. I felt that my processing and realisation was why it took off, as if it wanted aknowlegment from me. When going up to Hotham 80% of the way there is the down side of the hill (a very steep and deep decline) this thing was following me on the left for 5-10 minutes. I still get goosebumps today when I think that when I lent over to wind down the window that this thing was hovering just alongside my car. I was shaking when I got to Hotham, it did not threaten me, but I got the feeling it wanted my aknowlegement of it’s existence
