I remember recently Qantas used an A330-200 back on January 1st, 2023, for QF 94 from LAX to Melbourne, it was about 13,000 km or 7,000 nmi, the flight on the A330-200 lasted insanely 17 hours and 5 minutes!

Hey mate, i've got a possible trip to kochi in india coming up with saudia in january; (london - jeddah - kochi and then kochi - riyadh - london). It'll only be a maximum of 3.5 hrs connection for both journeys and i'll be booking on the saudia website in one ticket. I won't need a transit visa will i? And i won't need to recheck my baggage in during the connections right? Cheers.

I have fly once with China Airlines, and got similar airplane like you Airbus 330 but with smaller seat pitch and quite cramped :(. For next flight why don't you try eva air.

I was thinking to buy returned tickets from kl to london in Dec due to price. Would u recommend? Was the layover smooth? I took saudia Arabia in 2020 kl to jeddah n it was OK.

It's all a question of money, always has been. I paid a little more for an aircraft with newer in flight entertainment etc but have also skimped out and flown on whatever they gave me because I wanted the lowest priced ticket. Great review though.

I always booked seat 75K for my trips to and from LA to Brisbane. Only two seats, more room for storage beside the seat and the wall, plus the view of that gigantic wing. :-) It is funny that rainbow man at the top of Qantas phased out a plane that was beloved by flight and cabin crews. I guess there are no photo ops of being a same sex deEeviAnt with a plane that has been in the fleet for 30 plus years. When he heard the word lockdown, boy did he get excited.

My first long haul flight started with not sleeping a wink the night before. Flew a 5 hour leg then a 13 hour. Didn't sleep a wink. Landed in schipol. 2 hour drive to our destination. Didnt sleep a wink. Arrived and absolutely crashed. Took me at least two days to recover fully. Ah the memories.

Was the layover long at Muscat ? Did you you need a transit visa?

if we compared the price of the tickets of the middle east airlines and the services applied, how would you see the price of Oman air tickets compared to emirates and Qatar and Etihad ?

loved that Evo Rocket. Hoka hasn't since had a shoe with carbon pop quite like it. I think the Rocket X2 gets close, but maybe that's just nostalgia clouding that comparison.
