My young at hearts ❤ hubby calls it my urine sample ( my used water) because my doctor gave me a couple when he said they were trying to sell him samples of a urine bottle that doesn’t leak I mentioned it would be great for plein aire he tossed me a couple un used! Best best best actual before anyone turns there nose up! That was during Covid and now I can’t find any like it 🙁

guess ill add on nr3.. Never, never.. have a line of an object to be on top of another object line .Or near it... slightly . U even make a clear space between them.. or cross over. Not even a corner from an object that will be on a line of another :)) Shapes contrast.. cross over or move away 🙂

So happy that I found your TH-cam channel. I'm a retired gal and have only recently taken up drawing. I'm at a point in which I would like to draw plein air since I so enjoy wondering the mountains near my home. Not wanting to 'reinvent the wheel' I've have taken to researching what those before me use outside of their home studios. Thank you so much for sharing a part of your own journey with us.💕

Love the relaxed short lessons you produce . This was a great exercise for those cold, windy, wet days when you really don't want to venture outside. As a self taught artist, who really didn't believe he could draw, even I can see little improvements the more I practice and I will add this to my challenges.

Thank you...for this LOVELY DEMO...It was awesome that you had the picture you were drawing...in-frame...as well as your paints AND mixing surface...it really helped to understand your process...so many just show their painting...without the picture of what they are painting or their palette and mixing surface...and I then feel so unconnected to their process...so I LOVE that you knew better...and put all of that in view...I saw...how you changed your hue for different areas of shadow on the arm for instance...extremely helpful...I don't understand why you have so few subscribers...anyways...I certainly have now subscribed to your channel...I loved how you showed your oil painting...all yellow glowy...by using the yellow as a white. thanks for all you do here....Janis

People normally admire artists, so I don't worry too much about being seen. At the same time, I don't like areas or parks that are too "peopley." I like chatting, but peopley is avoided. PS: My water containers are almost always green - water and stain - mostly from Sap Green.

Just found this channel. I enjoy watercolor painting but I know my skill in drawing is sadly lacking. I’ve challenged myself to practice more drawing in order to improve. Will definitely try this technique!

I use a slightly larger Fjällräven cross-body bag I bought when I was in Stockholm. I actually took my 5.5" X 8.5" sketchbook into the Fjällräven store to find the bag that it would fit into. When I got home I found I could get the exact same bag on their website a lot cheaper. It fits my sketchbook, Holbein Palm Box, an 8 oz square Nalgene Bottle, and water pot.

I love that small kanken (i call them kankens i dont know if this is correct at all) bag for daily use as a purse. I can fit like 5 (I haven't put more in) different chapsticks/lipglosses in the small front pocket and the bag doesnt buldge or even look like theres anything in it. My phone, wallet, random receipts all fit in the main pocket and yet again it does not look like theres anything in the bag! I put a pandora bracelet box in it and it zippered (although you could definetly tell something was in it. My inly complaint is that the material started to turn white/fuzzy. Ive tried taking it off with lint rollers and tape. That didn't work and I'm not sure how to get rid of this. The white fuzz is noticeable on my bag because its a dark green so it kind of irritates me.
