I like that you showed what you did wrong. It always helps to see what to watch for when I assemble mine. Most people are to too proud to admit they did anything wrong. You clown on yourself which makes it fun and relatable. Great video!
Good thing I bought the armature w/ the ball joint preinstalled :P Only issue w/ that seems to be tackling the sway bar as well. Def gave me the perspective to curb the intimidation factor, appreciate it~
Bonus: I'm gonna attempt to 3D print sway bar bushings. Wish me luck! Haha.
Hey mate. After installing the gearbox does the clutch fork impossible to move forward and backward by hand ?
One it is installed on the vehicle it will be hard to move by hand because you are trying to push in the pressure plate. You should only be able to move it by hand when it is off the vehicle.

Bal Loney I removed my auto trans and replaced it with a 5 speed, what problem isn’t solved?

nice, I cant seem to find a clutch pedal
They are getting harder to find, I got lucky with the 180sx pedal. Your best bet is to eat the $150 price tag on eBay or Facebook part outs because people won’t let them go for anything less.
I'm sourcing parts for this swap right now. I believe there is a write-up on the NICO forum that you can use an S14 clutch pedal and just remove one bracket. ( Google search "S14 Clutch pedal in S13." ) Enjuku has them new on their site. But it is $180
Luke Viozzi you can use any pedal, it requires little modification. I didn’t know enjuku had them, they came up as discontinued last time I checked.
Ryan O'Brien It’s possible you might’ve come across an S13 pedal, I saw those were discontinued. However 95-98 S14 pedals were still available.

NOTE: 8:56 The throw out bearing was not moving straight. The reason is because my front transmission cover is missing a sleeve. I am doing a 5 speed swap so I will source the cover and post an update video. Part number 32111-91P00.
