Sorry video came out dark but... I like running trains and love these Con Cor Pennsy trains. 2 converted to dcc and running out now to get a decoder for third. My question: What order to run 3 locomotives, 3 dummies and 7 passenger cars?

This stuff has been in boxes since 1980's... Old, bearup and some broke and missing pieces

My go to is DN136 but I needed a lot smaller so DZ126T it is. That video will come later... Then I told train store guy that DN136, I dont use green wire. He then said DZ123 is a bit smaller, no green wire and same price. Normally I would go with one with green wire and not use it...just in case..cuz price is the same..but smaller had it.

First is first..santa fe is noisy. For now it works. My Con Cor Pennsy cannot pull 7 lighted y5' passenger cars plus dummy. So... Added santa fe (for now) and we are good. Gonna try and find another match, dcc convert it and boom... A-B-A Consist with 7 passenger cars. Got my eyes on 2 more too lol.

Both trains converted to DCC, lights working. Time to get some track laid down on foam. Got my 3 platforms I use each year that measure approximately 7ftx4ft. Turkey day coming so family time so track will be a while.

Ok so lets take a quick look at how I got up and running. Yes it was that easy and fast... simply ran the simple installer, it configured and got me going. But I need the config files, to modify, alter... that isnt too hard either. Here we go for a quick look. I will be expanding this later...

Keeping motivated even if something minor. Need to program the Decoder to swap Fwd and reverse as fwd is reverse and reverse is fwd. Light doesnt work under the correct direction at that time. Need to get JMRI to do that.

Yes sir... Dry run track, dcc converted train, arduino, motorshield and YES!!! WIFI board for cell control. Ok I dont go into it but it is easy. Jumping foreward...will corcle back to show ya how easy... DCC EX devs .. U Rock!!!

Lame local track set but arduino mega, motor shield.. dcc EX installed and Santa Fe Ran... Spoiler...wifi added and train controlled by phone. Next video!
