Any pike in there
Can you get to the waterfall if the tide is in?
I had to climb over some rocks to get to it I don’t think the tide matters, there is a big puddle that’s between two big rocks if the weathers good you can always just walk through it aswell
Very nice video of Armadale Castle. I am proud to say that I vistited this castle years ago. There has been many attempts to raise money to restore the castle. Perhaps someday it will happen. Cheers SAM
Cheers, yeah it’s a nice castle and grounds, maybe so one day although I do like ruins aswell, though would be a brilliant stop for tourists to visit for a weekend away if restored aswell
We are travelling there today. Very excited! Beautiful area.
Good stuff, it’s really nice up there, enjoy!
Did part of this walk the other day and couldn't believe how quiet it was, didn't quite find Charlie's Cave but I'll go back up and try again soon! Great video, thank you.
Cheers, we didn’t find it first time either, need to go the the top of the road which zig zags up to the top then you can either take a left and walk down through the forest path which you should see then it will go to an open hill where they’ve chopped trees and follow the water after that which will take you to it, or when you get to the top of the road go straight on to the farmers field then walk left, cross a burn and walk up a hill then it should be on the left, from what I remember, cheers
Looked nice and peaceful mate
Aye it’s worth a visit, the wee beach bit is down a slope out the way can’t see it from the path
Stunning! I love this part of the world.
Definitely is, hopefully go back up this summer
Is it good for fish
Only fished there twice with my pals, haven’t caught anything, seen some jump lol other people there for swimming and paddle boarding
Loch awe is stunning 🏞
Definitely is, do you fish there on boats?
I've fished all over Loch Awe mate, from the bank from a kayak and used to keep my boat at loch awe boats (ardbrecknish) and also at torran bay for a couple of years. What about you, have you fished it much?
Fish-o Holic sounds excellent, only once but will do it again next summer
@@johnbingham9153 Good luck mate
Hi John , a nice share , I spent my childhood at Torran bay 4-06 , our house was a 100 yards from the loch , it was a very magic place ! I ve photos taken on the end of the pier , ( now chopped down ! ) back in 1952 , with my mother ,but I havent been back since 1969 , there was no electricity , or tv , till 1966 , ha , ha , and that was only because of the hydro electric dam being opened then , at ben cruchan , cheers and thanks for the memory , best wishes from rural france . ritchie .
Hi Ritchie, thanks, that’s nice, it would have been good to grow up there I’d say, some of the houses there are stunning, that’s crazy, that’s a long time ago, time flys, I cant imagine living without electricity, would have been an experience, and no worries, hope you’re enjoying the nice French weather, cheers
