He was so down to earth just out having fun on dirt bikes only a few occasions due to his schedule but left a pleasant lasting impression Greg Hanson the same we were both Motocross, obviously wiggy was speedway and grass track simply masters of their field.

it is decent because of what it once was , id say monitor the groups and wait on the inside being open again its over three floors but currently locked down tight , off road parking past the entrance bud

hi everything i had was included once uploaded any other footage would be wiped , if you have taken part before perhaps i have captured your good self , perhaps check the club website someone might of been filming a friend or relative in your races over the weekend .

we parked up in a layby close as we could still almost a mile walk

its an awesome track id retired long before it was in use , its very old school so racers of all abilities can ride it . thanks for watching hope you have a great week .

@@RobwithScoobyScooby agreed it’s a great track I try and ride it as much as possible. My step dad is Dave Poynter he’s an old school vets champion

@@joeyb3441 We raced against each other with the MK club he was generally on a Honda CR 250 I’d be either on a CR 125 or an RM 250 I was 11th in the championship in 94 he would of course remember Nik Fisk , eddy Johnson , Pete shine I hung around with them a lot back in the day .

The club has a real gem there, it means it’s suitable for everyone novices to professional and certainly evo and two shocked bikes like a classic 500 circuit but it can still chew you up and spit you out , thanks for watching have a brilliant week 👍🍻

Had been looking in the wrong place for it for some time then see it while looking into something else, glad we did it as it’s either getting fixed up or demolished imminently xxx

thank you , as much as it looked pretty dangerous to walk around it actually felt safer than the route we took to get in .

in the end it worked in our favor as we couldn't get into or near the lodge at first , diggers / workers etc so we did this spanhoe as a back up then drove back thinking if we cannot get in we would go to that factory , but we made it glad we did , bit of a challenge the way we got in some serious indiana jones stuff lol

they have done a lot of work to preserve it , id say it was prob better in the 70's

@@RobwithScoobyScooby It was a lot wilder, for sure...I was terrified, as the place had a really bad reputation back then {1978}

@@RobwithScoobyScooby There is a pic of it in 1976 online under ''Clophill History''... My friend told me about it and one snowy winter's afternoon we went up there.. It wasn't anything like as manicured as it is now, as you can see by the pic in the article. But the 1970's was a different era..that was a harsh winter.

yep read up on it , the report came from those who lived there when it collapsed , it was called Weldon Lodge Farm

We now have a couple of buses 🚌 very space aged looking that go around, anything new and bizarre they tend to test on us 🫣🤣

We drove past it the first time on the abandoned zoo tour bus 🫣🤣, thought no way that’s locked down but it’s not , it’s full accessible 👍

strangest thing not one trucker took a blind bit of notice of us just walking around the place , it will get trashed in time for sure but as of now its at least a 20min video's worth of decent content 👍

I couldn’t wait to leave. But looking back it was safe a kinder time with hot summers and cold winters. I used to take the train to London from Bletchley on Thursday evenings as British rail did a special discount. Happy times. The lakes estate was a good place and I don’t remember any trouble. I guess cheap housing never endures.

I remember Bunces and the bakery! We used to buy buttered rolls at lunchtime at school😀

Caught up with it a couple of times very cool vehicle 👍

With it being Rachel’s birthday we went for breakfast at captain Ridley’s first so yep prob missed you by 10 -15 mins tops , absolutely loved it relaxed and good fun 👍

Cheers bud worth a look it kinda ticked the boxes of car graveyard and abandoned house together took me a while to find its location as I really expected it to be on the middle of nowhere 🍻👍

took me ages to find as nobody was giving out info there are 3 locations within 5 miles didn't get a lot of traction but there is an abandoned garden center on same road with abandoned old cars and a corner plot grow house

fell in love with the place , stupidly for years i thought no chance because of the sodding blue huts outside lol

from what i have seen , all the area we were in you will be pretty much left alone to do what you want , the run ways constantly have Cars on them parked up , scrappage and carzoo holdings , the control tower is sensor alarm triggered and security will show up , there are a few other small buildings accessible , hope this helps .

@@v1s1on_official cool follow the fence line , park up where we did next to public right of way next to small factory , there is a gaping hole marked with orange rope .be safe have fun.

Unfortunately like many sites now it becomes a prize in a battle between those who want to preserve and those who cannot no longer fund it , so it stands in disrepair and abandoned. It’s iconic to the area and like a benchmark to an Urbex explorer, we simply had to do it to tell its story and we loved it 👍🍻
