Birkdale doesn't need to be reimagined and is not blighted. It needs to be left alone. We don't want to be like Charlotte and we certainly don't want shady out of state developers like you. Just stop and take your high rises and your fake grass south down to around 485 or to an office park where it belongs.

Typical of Huntersville. Keep building massive housing and retail developments without doing a thing about the horrible traffic already. The towns board have been so short sighted (or outright bribed), they've managed to make sure nearly the whole city is 2 lane country roads with no shoulder and a half mile long traffic jam at a stop light.

The infrastructure is not established- there are not enough routes in and out, not enough police. Remember there is an entire neighborhood adjoining the Village that has to drive through it everyday to get in and out multiple times a day. Density isn’t just the tenants of the Village.

More density does mean more traffic Tim.

These are the kind of developers we should be >encouraging< in Huntersville, rather than protesting every single development proposal that comes our way. Note that this company made sure every aspect followed the Huntersville development plan; as opposed to other developers (@Lennar) who clear cut everything and opt to just "ask for forgiveness" and give no concern otherwise.

I used Maestro travel for two vacations. First one was a week at Disney World and the second was a Caribbean Cruise.
