Native Campervans Van Tour
We had the best long weekend trip in this @nativecampervans van! If you know us, you know we prioritized simplicity when building out our truck camper, and Native has the same philosophy with their campervans. We honestly used everything in the van and there was no wasted space! We loved being able to wake up in the morning and make a cup of coffee inside, brush our teeth in a sink, and have enough storage to bring all the clothing and gear we could ever need!
Van life makes camping even more glamorous and we are so excited to be partnering with Native Campervans to level-up our adventures!

What sun hoodie are you wearing?
it’s a Melanzana hoodie you can only get them in Leadville, CO and they are by appointment only.
Gem Lake above Snow Lake is more beautiful.
I will definitely have to go back and check that one out too!
Please lose the scratchy voice ‼️
But how’s the actual build quality? Durability of parts?
So far everything feels really solid and all the seems appear to be sealed well. Also any parts that might break are bolt on and appear to be easily replaceable. I didn’t want to comment too much on this yet though since we haven’t been using it for that long. Our plan is to do another video after we have used it for 6-12 months about the durability and how well it has held up.
Did you charge it at any point while charging all that stuff or was that on one charge?
Nope the only time we charged it was when we showed us charging it in the video.
Every morning I pop a tent up.
Too much information lol 😂
Guess I missed where he was actually working
I’m not going to take videos while Im on site because that would be disrespectful to the landowner and their privacy. The travel still takes a lot of time though so I would still consider it work. I would think most people wouldn’t consider it a day off to fly 7 hours and drive another 9+ hours round trip in about a 24 hour period when it’s not for a trip of their own choosing.
That’s my state!
Awesome! It’s so beautiful.
you flew and rented a jeep? wow great work man!
Your right. Flying out to WA after a full 10 hour day of work then driving 3.5 hours after getting there at midnight then getting back up at 6am to drive another 45 min into the mountains to get eyes on a site then making the journey all the way back and sitting in 2 hours of traffic to get the last 20 miles to the airport and arriving home that night at 2am because your flight got delayed after you arrived to the airport then getting up at 5am the next morning to upload all the information on the site requires no time or effort.
Wow! I want one of those! Where did you get it at? I camp by myself, but with my dog, and I have a small tent, but I’ve never put it up before by myself. One of those would be so much easier.
We got it on Amazon but you could probably get it directly from Coleman as well. It’s super nice when setting up a tent by yourself.
@ thanks!
How do you know if sanitizing wipes are food safe? Do you add non-refrigerated items on top of your basics in the tub when you're packing for a trip?
The wipes will usually say so on the container but they are hard to find sometimes. As for refrigerated food we usually bring a cooler as well and keep those items in the cooler. We put dry foods in the bin though.
This is basically what you get when you’re out on the road. They have eggs in a bag and they throw in boiling water or use steam. Not bad
I’ve never seen that. You can buy them already in the bag like that ready to cook? That sounds really convenient.
Eggcelent!!! Idea 😂😂😂😂
Hahahaha
i hiked that trail with my brother
Awesome! It’s so amazing!
FRESHLY CRACKED EGGS IS A THING.
Yep
👍🦃
What does that mean?
Awesome tip love it and love the melly
Thank you!
1000 IQ
Sarcasm?
The store sells it like that. Ilmaomilk carton lmao 🤣 😂 must be a liberal smfh
Why would we pay more and buy something extra when we can do it for free at home with the eggs we already have? The carton can also get soggy and break down in the cooler with the ice. How would this make someone a liberal please explain your reasoning?
Such a cool liberal trick my god 🤣 what a fricken genius 👏 just go to store and buy it like that in a carton already you guys scare me seriously 😳 they just invent stuff that already exist its freaking scary
Questions for you: 1. How is this liberal? 2. When did we say this made us smart? 3. Why would we go to the store and buy something extra and more expensive when we can make it at home for free in 30 seconds? 4. Where did we say that we invented anything? 5. Why would you take the time out of your day to engage with something you don’t like when you could just scroll by?
What a great idea thanks for sharing
No problem!
I want to hate it , but i just can't 😂😂😂
Why do you want to hate it lol?
Wow, you’re a genius😂😂
Assuming this is sarcasm. Just responding so the notification goes away so I can see the real comments.
I do the same thing ! Just with whiskey.
Hahaha
Lol
How many actual hours of work did you put in?
I was probably on site for about an hour and a half and I had a few more hours the next day uploading information and putting the report together, but with these the travel time takes up most of my time. That’s why I usually try to fly out at night after a full day of work so it only takes up the next day and I can get back to my normal work the day after. For these i usually work extra hours the other days so I can get 40 in of my normal work so we don’t fall behind.
Looks like chelan?
I’m not 100% sure it was about 15-20 miles north of Leavenworth.
You'd think modern ESG concerns would require the technical work to be done by local talent
This wasn’t very technical really just getting eyes on the site to make sure it’s a good candidate so we can put baseline drawings together to get the ball rolling.
Welcome to Washington!!
Thank you it’s beautiful!
If I had to share that tent with my husband and 2 dogs they’d be on the ground by the time I wake up 😂
The dogs sleep below in the bed of the truck. It would be so cramped if we all slept in the rooftop tent lol.
I think this is totally a problem of the privileged.
I could see that I guess but we work our butts off all week to be able to do these little weekend camping trips where we sleep in our car so I’m not sure if this is a super privileged activity.
It is against every single rental car company's policy to drive any vehicle off of paved roads, even Jeeps. @Sixt
I always tell the rental car agent that I will be taking the vehicle on dirt roads or mountain roads at pickup and they have never told me that it’s not allowed. You could drive a sedan down these dirt roads and be fine I just rent a 4x4 just in case. If we need to get to a site that is on a 4x4 trail we rent from an off road vehicle rental company. Also why are you trying to tell on me to the company without first asking if I talk to them about it?
What time did you start to be at the best spot for sunrise?
I’m not 100% positive when we started but my first picture on my phone was taken at 5:30am so probably 4:45-5:00.
Slow down and take it all in. You will look back and realize when you slowed down you will remember more of where you been.
We definitely need to try to slow down and that is so true.
Running from one place to the next seems thoughtless and like work
I mean we do put a lot of thought into these trips and they don’t feel like work to us because we are go go go people and really enjoy it but I could see it feeling like work if you don’t enjoy that kind of travel.
Take time to smell the roses😊
We really need to.
Sit and have breakfast. Eating on the go is not great, tbh...
We really need to start doing that. Sometimes it’s hard when it’s cold out though because we just want to jump in the truck and get warm.
Slow down and enjoy the peace of being in nature. Life is already too fast and busy. Take time to smell the roses ❤
We really need to do that more!
My favorite thing is a slow start in the morning. Taking a nice walk with coffee to wakeup, let the dog do his business, and clear my head is essential. I'm an early riser but I like to take an hour or two in the morning to get my day started right. I traveled with someone like you and it was anxiety inducing for me. Life isn't a race and there's no real destination.
That is so true and we really need to work on slowing down. I get up at 4:25 for work on a normal day and I’m on the computer working by 4:30 so I never really take the time to get my day started right.
I love slow mornings at the campsite. Usually leave at 12:30 ,arrive at the next one at 4;00 pm in time for dinner and a night camping fire. We travel on 4! To 5 hrs a day up the coast of California. You can take two weeks to get to Oregon or Washington
That sounds so nice and chill. We definitely need to start spending more time hanging out at camp because we get to camp after dark and leave before sunrise way too often.
Relax and enjoy. Slow down.
Nah, don’t waste the day by sitting in bed 🛌 they r enjoying more in the day
We should slow down some for sure!
I don’t think we will ever slow down that much but I do think we should slow down some.
the hike is great, great place for some hammock sex.
I think it’s great you both are organized and efficient and you are such a sweet couple. I tend to rush sometimes too and go see the next place. There’s so many beautiful places in Colorado. But what always stands out in my mind and the things I remember most are the times I sit at the picnic table with my cup of coffee and just take in everything around me and appreciate what God has given us to see, and the times when I sit really still and all the chipmunks, probably from the whole campground, lol, come to me for food. Thanks for the awesome videos. Happy Thanksgiving! Oh, and I love the teeth brushing part of your video. 😊
Thank you so much and that is so true!
“Cleaning up egg shells” bro your in nature just throw em on the ground 😂
When in the outdoors you need to always pack everything out even if it’s biodegradable because things take a long time to biodegrade and before that happens they can attract animals which can harm the animals as well as people. Also these things will start to smell and are an eyesore for other visitors. Also if people have dogs they bring with them the dogs can try to eat the food scraps and possibly get sick. If you hike or camp please pack everything out with you.
??????????????????
OMG snow lake! that's actually where my PFP comes from. Super awesome hike in the winter with all the snow ❤️🔥
It was so beautiful and that’s awesome It would be so cool to visit in winter!
I did it in early summer years ago and the switchback part was just essentially an ice wall. We were climbing up in shorts and t-shirts while other groups had poles, ice picks, and spike-toed shoes 😂. On my way up I had to help a girl who had slid down part way and gotten stuck almost upside down on a bush. On the way down my gf slipped and slid down and got scratches all up her legs and arms. We probably chose the worst time to go for the sort of hike we were looking for but I just figured I should mention it. No hate on the hike, it's still in my memory as a fun day.
Solving problems that don't exist. Nice job. Cleaning up eggshells, when camping? Lol ok dude
Much easier to throw them away at your house and clean your hands off in a sink then have to pack them out and clean your hands off without running water in my opinion.
Why would you not just bring the egg carton I’m confused
We just like to minimize the trash we have to pack out and this keeps our hands cleaner as well. We also prefer to take a little extra time prepping at home so things are quicker and easier while camping since we usually move pretty quickly.
Wow so impressive
I mean it’s a pretty simple tip but if you’re being sarcastic I guess ya got us, good for you I guess.
You do realise eggs don’t belong in the fridge right?
We buy them refrigerated so we keep them refrigerated. You don’t have to refrigerate them if they have never been refrigerated right?
You can buy organic shelled eggs in a carton
No shit you think bro bought pre cracked eggs
@RegularReggie no that's why he is an idiot
@@duityfulcrib3283there is alot of other ingredients in shelled eggs in a carton dab.
Just because it’s organic doesn’t mean you can throw it on the ground you have to pack out everything you bring in. You can think I’m dumb all you want but please pack out all your trash and food scraps while camping.
It's in a carton u must pack out.... u must also pack out the container you brought also.. this is why u make no sense...
