I love this series. I have watched over 12 seasons of this show here on TH-cam, for free, on the Midsomer Murders channel. It's nice to see there is another channel showing these episodes too. If you like murder mysteries, I have loved watching the Nero Wolf series here on YT also, with great humor, wit, and irresistible jazz music. Several channels offer multiple episodes each, so you have to hunt them down.

Love this series, the main characters and all the support characters so well written and acted. And the beauty of English towns and countryside.

No es el primer caso de John Barnaby con su primo ya de retiro. En el primero acababa de llegar a su nueva casa junto con su perro y en su casa había cajas por todas partes. Y fué luego de la visita de un vecino (gay)que trataba de ser "amigable" con él que menciona que su esposa es maestra y lo alcanzará en algunos meses cuando termine el año escolar. A este caso no le pusieron número de episodio, pero me imagino que es como la temporada 14; porque el inspector Tom Barnaby terminó la temporada 13.

That sort of beginning was popular with The Avengers (John Steed). I recall the Cybermen & Attack Pussy Cats ones starting like that. There's not nearly as many bods get murdered here as Badger's Drift. There's only 47 bods live in Badger's Drift and 213 of them been murdered in the 6 Seasons.

My perennial complaint: When did the Brits forget how to light night scenes? OR, did their MI6-tainted souls become so dark that they now seek to inflict all with ignorance of what is going on? Are the night scenes in their flicks a metaphor for all that MI6 does that they can't see the light of day because it's so awful? Asking for a friend.

Jack Pierce is so brilliant as Keith Mallory! I can watch him over and over again. And I still ask myself if the long hair is a wig 😂?! Sadly I can’t find many movies were he has larger roles :0(

So if forensics had finger print tested the car they would have found Garth`s prints all over it in the beginning. Therefore questions would have been asked and Garth interrogated. Of course normally in these series the murderer confesses because there is never sufficient incriminating evidence. Having said all of that I am a fanatic of these types of brilliant old TV series which do not need special effects or excess bad language and violence to attract a viewing. Just good old professional acting!

The subtitles are just as amuzing as the series. When a man sais "ready to go now, Steve", to hieve the car out, the subtitles read " ready to go nasty" :-)
