Nice Aaron..lemme subscribe and see where you take me..
What were the requirements to teach English in Canada?
China is soooo huge! Living in different areas can give you totally different experiences. Btw, thanks a ton for this content!
awesome video man
I’m gonna kiss you on the mouth
I’m thinking of moving to London to teach mandarin. Do you have any suggestions?
make sure to connect with picklepickle519, he'll help you out
@@PLANetAaron lol that’s hilarious
my fav vid to date
china is not migrant country like canada which was stolen by europeans and made it a migrant country
But in canada, you get variety, but not authentic as well
The guy who shouted at you for doing something must be a security guard. Police don't normally shout or talk to you
for goodness sake grow up.. China is homogenous like Japan or Korea.. there not many Mexican in China for there to be masses of Mexican restaurant.. all those stuff about chicken feed etc are normal food in the Asian pacific.. they eat horses and hedgehogs in other part of the world, so what is your point.. grow up kid.. may be you will be telling us.. there's a possibility the Chinese eat babies.. not very bright are you..
They really ripped you off at 15k RMB a month, especially in Shenzhen. Even if they gave you an apartment. A native speaker with two years of relatable experience or a TEFL/tesl working legally should take no less than 25k a month on the lowest end, with the average salary being 28k-32k. It sounds like they didn't have you on a teaching work visa; however, since you said you didn't need the TEFL/TESOL.
Bottomline is, if you cannot hack it, just be honest with yourself, chalk it down to life's experiences, and move on.
In a nutshell, when we are in a foreign country, be prepared to respect and accept that their lives, traditions, cultures, language, habits, etc will be different from ours and that it's us who have & need to make the adjustments and not the locals. Just behave like an asshole and expect to be worship like a God/king.
Actually, Google Translate works, because inside of the APP, you can pre-download the Chinese language pack. Then it works offline.
maybe foreign community is a good idea, like china town in S.F
good luck with your next adventure
It’s okay 👍 Your free to come back to China anytime and any year to travel etc We welcome foreigners to visit our country 😊
I was going to teach with EF China. But it seems like a lot of work for 15,000RMB
Such a fun and relaxing day!
Chomi yaaaaaaam <3 <3 <3 I miss you dearly. I know your next chapter will be glorious. Continue being a shining light. You're amazing ♥
You’re the best Bruce!!!!!! miss you tons ❤️
14 years in the ESL game, this lifestyle is tough, VERY emotionally taxing.
which countries, jobs would you recommend?
maybe once you learn some basic Chinese you would be happier.
Dude, China is anything but ethnically homogenous. Chinese is not even a single language.
As a local I understand what he's feeling. The thing about Chinese people is that they are in general friendly and easy-going. But it's difficult to develop a deep and serious relationship unless you are truly part of the family. That goes roughly the same for all East Asian countries. This is a big gap between "colleague/friends" and "best mate/partner".
travel is different from work. for work, you need friends and companionship.
free to come and go, as long as not making troubles, every country has the similar standards.
I'm from China and I'm leaving for a master's degree in Europe. I like your sincere sharing. Good luck!
Hello, I am Cambodia❤
Hello, your video is very good🎉🎉❤❤
There is no right or wrong path, you only live once, experience everything, preferably with your loved ones by your side, nothing else matters, nobody is here to judge you, it's wonderful that you have lifted the weight off your shoulder. I've made plenty of mistakes moving around the world looking for the perfect place myself, in the end, I chose China, because I feel at rest, I experienced unconditional love there, it instilled within me a sense of safety and security and love I didn't experience anywhere else, but that is just me, in your case, isolation and loneliness, then it is perfect time to move on. Everyone is different, and you have not wasted your time, you gained new experience and became a better person and developed your character and resilience as a person, see you said it yourself, you have become very honest and that is a brilliant trait that will help your through out your life. It is normal to feel regret and sorrow and we all do. Nothing in life is ever as we expected it to be, it's ok to be disappointed as it is a natural part of a human being, try everything, you can always come back to China anytime you want, China will always welcome you.
As a Cantonese, I have always had a strong aversion to Shenzhen. The city's pace is too fast, and work is still the main theme. Just thinking about it makes me feel tired.
来成都撒,天天打麻将。
look at Guangzhou when you want to buy clothes, shoes and tech
Do you have a instagram account???
GOOD LUCK BRO
Too bad. Hope you find what you are looking for. It doesn’t sound like teaching is the right job for you. You may want to try a more outward facing job, such as marketing. Probably would have been easier for you, if your job was in Shanghai.
Sorry to hear that… but probably you could try Shanghai bc there might be more foreigners and the culture and companies might be easier for you to fit in
It's alright to quit something that doesn't fit you. Life is all about experience. As long as this experience makes you know yourself better or know the world better it's totally worth it especially at young age. Welcome coming to China maybe for another job in the future or just for touring around. Good luck.
I would love to see anyone find Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese , Indian, Mexican, German, American food in any indian city.
Precisely! ... should add "authentic" which makes that extremely difficult or next to impossible. That's the reality of living in a foreign country which we must and should be prepared for and accept.
Got a sense you didn’t like the work last video you did These private language schools are not that great to be employed at ☹️
man sounds like you made a good decision for yourself and Im happy for you cant wait to see the next video!!
cheers man 🤝
Wish you all the best and find your confidence back in the next chapter of life! and one day visit China in another way!
Making room for the right things is always important! Luv y’a boi
love you brotha ❤️
background music on point
Mr man, who do you think you are, all you do is moan, whine and whinge that there isn't any other food only Chinese. Where the fell did you think you are?? You are in china, it is a Chinese country. Stop complaining about nothing. If you don't like China leave, it is not as though their food is the rubbish crap you eat in the west. China is developing for its people first and not you. If you want Indian food, move to India then and eat as much Indian food as you want. Font come here with your arrogant mouth to insult us here, we won't tolerate it. Nobody in China is holding a him to your head to stay here.....
A A Ron. Is there an A A Ron over here?
Fire as always 🔥
really appreciate that, dude 🤝
how do you have a visa to stay there?
I got a Z visa (work visa) working as an English teacher
2:41 my home is near the mall, welcome to Shenzhen, the truck that spraying water is not for plant, but for air quality, to remove the dust. there are another truck with a worker to water the plants.
Ccp propaganda!

Of course no coubtry or society is perfect but im glad you are putting the effort to make it work and im also glad that the pros outweight the cons, that says a alot.
Nice.
