The best answer I have found to the question "how are you doing"is "I'm hanging in there" Either it's just accepted or offers the questioner the chance to ask further.
Missing my husband of 48 years :-(
I miss my dear husband so much
I lost my beautiful wife on August 11th she had kidney cancer that spread to her liver and lungs. We were married for 50 years on August 10th, it’s almost a month already and I am shattered in a million pieces. These podcasts help very much. I will be starting a grieve share meetings I hope it will help me. 💔I cared for her the best I could with the help of home hospice. I pray every day that I will be able to join her in heaven 💔
It’s been 3 weeks since my wife went to sleep with the Lord, she had had kidney cancer that spread to her liver and lungs. We were married for 50 years. I cry everyday and night and it’s been unbearable to take. I will join a grieve share meeting and I hope it will help me a bit.
Oh I LOVE that comment “how about, if you’re going to say something, say something to honour __________ (loved one’s name; in my case Ben ❤️🩹)”. Thank you for this podcast, and to all your grievers for sharing ♥️♥️♥️
I lost my wife on January 8 2024 after 36 years of marriage to ovarian cancer. I had finally retired 6 days before that. She was my best friend, my love, and my better half. How do I live without someone I can’t live without?
Thank you for reaching out. We hope this podcast is helping you as you process your grief. Please make sure you are reaching out for support in your community. Support is so necessary when trying to learn how to live without your dear wife.
I'm in Olive Branch, lost my husband of 32 years about 100 days ago and I'm so grateful for this podcast!
thank you so much for this series, and the whole podcast actually. am glad that I found your podcast. I'm Grace from Malaysia. I lost my husband during 9 July 23, Sunday evening 10:08pm, and I still miss him greatly, and mourn still everyday. I talk to him still too, greeting good mornings to him the first thing i open my eyes. Listening to Traci's story made me feel that I'm not alone, and thus, I thank her so much for sharing her feelings and experience with us, it really helped and comforted me alot. These kinds of sharing is very wonderful, please do continue making them if there are more that are willing to share, especially for spouse grieving. thank you all. God bless.
Excellent grief video. Thank you.
This is so what I needed to hear..am all this.
I have lost 2 adult children and 2grandchildren..among other love ones..my main focus are the 4 my children 😢😢😢my grandchildren grandchildren

I am getting angry at people who ask me how I am!😢 I told them ,how do you think I feel I just lost my husband 3 months ago! Just give me a hug and let it be! I am not pretending to be a super Christian spouting scriptures at you ,no, and don’t do it to me!! Just realize in the sight of death there isn’t anything You or I can say…..it’s over!! Give me a hug and let it be. That’s me, right now.
I miss my gran I can't feel it thanks anyway
Or are missing or loss due to estrangement
This awesome
Thank you to the panelists for helping to normalize men's grief. Thank you for helping to educate people on dealing with those, especially men, who are grieving. And, thank your for your patience in dealing with the well meaning people around you who say and do stupid things when trying to help. Your sharing makes a difference.
