Testing a 3D Printed Flash Hider and Handle on my Little Badger
มุมมอง 7326 หลายเดือนก่อน
I designed and printed a flash hider / thread protector and a spring loaded handle for my @ChiappaFirearms #little #badger . I wasn't sure if there would be any actual utility from a flash hider on a .22 but this seems to port at least some of the gas away. I may open some of the holes up, or add more for next iteration. #canada #3dprinting #flash #hunting #22 #guntuber #firearmreview #crea...

Getting these as pistol defense rounds. Let's see how they work out of a 3.5in.
Just got one, it was 360$.
I still love mine. Surprisingly accurate. What calibre did you get it in?
Thank You
hey do you recommend me to buy that
Depends on your goals. I've enjoyed it a lot. It's great for small game and target shooting.
looks awesome man!
Thank you, I appreciate it! Your art is awesome :) I've been learning a lot from you.
We got rid of Biden and Kamala everything is going to be better now. Trust no one. Trust GOD Only
My alignment is off a bit , but I’m getting closer 😂
36 grain 1410 fps
Thank you sir.
Great job again! We'll include this in this weeks National newsletter that goes out Friday!
What type of filament did you use for the end? I figured pla would melt.
I used Creality hyper PLA I believe. Since it's just a .22 LR single shot so it doesn;t get too too hot. I put 50-100 shots through it some afternoons and it's been great.. I'd be weary of putting it on anything bigger though. I have PETG CF I may try to make it out of that too.
@FrostyPineLabs good to know, is your file available? I'm still learning about 3d printing.
Gracias por compartir esta valiosa información.
Thank you for being yourself and sharing this awesomeness.
I can't wait for your next videos.
Thank you! Workiong on some now :)
Hey i just got one when i put a full load mag in it doesnt sit tight and falls out you really have to slam it in but than the bolt release wont work unless you push the mag down. I know there was issue of over inserting to hard but if i dont it doesnt insert and lock in place at all. Whats yhe deal?
@@austinporter6701 what mags are you using? I haven’t had the over insertion issue running crossmags. I have heard of the over insertion issue before though.
@@FrostyPineLabs the mag that comes with the gun
Great starter video for sharing with others! Sharing in our national newsletter!
Thank you very much! I'm a proud member of the CCFR. You guys do amazing work.
cool!
:D
I like this set, along with your other one. The green lights look cool af.
Thanks! I have a hue light and some panel lights that are green to give the effect.
Thanks for the video! Great camera work!!
Thank you!
did u change wood color? mine looks darker
Good eye. I refinished the wood a few years back as it was all dinged up. I love how it turned out.
Great job! Excited to see the rest of the series and learn all I can :)
lookin forward to more videos
Thanks for watching, looking forward to making more. If you have any ideas for a video, definitely let me know!
I like how easy this was to understamd. Thank you.
Thank you, I trried my best to make it beginner friendly
I got one of these from my grandpa back, it was stamped with supersporter.
Yes, this is a Savage Super Sporter in 30-06. Great hunting rifle.
What kind of gun is that? Is it good for hunting?
Savage Super Sporter. I like it for hunting bear/deer.
clean the gas system next, I haven't done mine yet... lol
Tbh neither have I 😅 I'll post a video soon. I appreciate you watching.
@@FrostyPineLabs Looking forward to that video
Awesome
That's soooo sick!!!!!!
Tutorial please?
I'll post a tutorial this week! Thank you for watching :)
Great work!
@@robertharper3754 thank you! I appreciate you watching.
👍🏿 does it segment at handgun speeds? I think I saw a video that it does out of a 4 inch barrel but I can’t remember.anyway looks like a good small game load.
That's a great question. These one's aren't designed for handguns specifically, and sadly as I'm Canadian, handguns are banned here currently (Hopefully changes soon) That being said, they are so close to the Winchester Silvertip , same grain and speeds - that I assume they'd probably expand pretty well out of a handgun and have similar performance.
@@FrostyPineLabs thanks, hopefully at some point all the rules change to where they should be and you can have whatever gun you want,I forgot about the no pistol in Canada thing, thanks for the response, enjoy the guns you can.
That's a spicy boy
The hardest Cooey video on TH-cam
Badass little repeater haha.
@@FrostyPineLabs I have a model 39. Absolute nail driver
Thank you bro!! Your video help me lot...😊
Glad you found it useful :) Thanks for watching!
styrofoam gods were not kind on this day.
Yeah, the styrofoam is brutal haha. Little bits everywhere 😂
Shot on a cell phone and no chrono. Not much value here.
Yeah, my chrono's switch got hit in my trunk and died. I have a new video that will be up tomorrow where each is round is chronied and barrier tested against denim and 20g steel. Fastest frame rate I have at the moment is on my gropro with 240 fps. I need to invest in a higher framerate. I appreciate you checking it out at least. Have a good one.
This in canada?
Yes, just north of Toronto. These were from my fall hunt.
Nice that looks wild! Go Joe Biden 💙
great video, very informative. cant wait for more!
Thanks brother!
Hola! ¿Cuánto tiempo te toma limpiar el rifle completamente? ¡Saludos desde México!
20 minutes or so for a thorough clean. 5 for a quick
Never thought to clean the firing pin like that. Mine always gets super dirty.
Yeah it's good to stay on top of it for sure.
Awesome content! Is it safe to use WD-40 for cleaning the SRV2? 🤔
I believe WD-40 is a penetrating oil and light lubricant, but not a cleaner. I'd recommend CLP or Ballistol or another oil that states it cleans and lubricates.
Is there a specific brand of cleaning solvent you trust for your SRV2?
Ballistol, Crud Buster or CLP are my go to's.
Mate, how often do you recommend cleaning the SRV2 if I shoot regularly?
Have you ever tried ultrasonic cleaning for your rifle parts? Is it effective?
Yes,. it works well assuming you have a cleaner big enough to fit your parts.
Is it ok to use a bore snake for the SRV2 or should I stick with traditional cleaning rods?
Absolutely! I use my bore snake most of the time. I use the rod when I want to jag.
Gr8 video! Really appreciate the step-by-step guide.
Glad it was helpful!
Great vid, bro! Love how thorough you are with the cleaning process. Learned a lot!
How much was it when you got it? I think they've gone up recently
I traded some firearms for mine. I believe it was priced about 1799 CAD.
