Suggestion: 1) Put the camera on your forehead so we can see what you do. 2) Cut the stupid music. No one comes here to hear your music 3) Wear a mic so we can hear you clearly. 4) if possible, use multi-angle cameras (more than 1 camera) so we can see what you do from different views. Nothing is more annoying than seeing a guy fumbling around with no clear view and that music drowning out your voice.

see those brown areas? not enough gas coverage. Can be due to cup setup/flow rate/ angle of your torch. Its normal to have this but keep in mind that is contamination and welding over it will give you more trouble. So when doing two welds close together or welding for practice like this, id brush it off. As far as Tig aluminum, its hard. Or at least I had a hard time. Taught myself steel and aluminum, but while I could wing steel and figure it out I had to resort to youtube tutorials to get any good at aluminum. It is way harder but definitely give it a crack. The right tungsten makes a big difference too, I recommend 2% lanthinated for AL, the thoriated stuff is better but only by a little bit, and its way more hazardous because it releases a lot of fine radioactive particles when grinding. so requires decent PPE to stay safe.

Definitely looks like you're getting the hang of it. My best bit of advice is to clean the piece. Use a flap disc or a grinding disc. And keep the tungsten clean. Even if you just barely dip it, stop and grind the tip. Don't underestimate the importance of keeping the whole tig process clean. I know when you are just starting out you think it's not a big deal because youre still just practicing. I did the same thing. But when I finally took that part seriously, it made a world of difference. Looks like you got a great handle on the puddle control though.

Looks good, practice makes it better. When you have holes in your welds, it means you have porosity. And the metal table better off try mig and stick

Number one you should have metal on that table not wood and I think you did a pretty good job it's really wrist movement movements of u-shaped there's plenty of videos you can watch and get more technical advice I have a complete machine shop at home and my wife bought me a TIG welder some years ago and I finally tried it out about a year ago and I love it but I find myself using more the mig I think tig is better for aluminum or stainless steel or in canal or titanium that takes some time to learn Take care be safe and God bless
