What a feat of enginering
Here after quite the final sprint in Lucern
Вопреки всему мы болеем за Колю и желаем им с Мартином победы❤️🔥 we continue to believe in Nikolai despite the circumstances, and wish him and Martin only victories 🥇
Great! All the best!
Really entertaining discussion. Thanks!
I heard Peter was going to take-up Cornish Pilot Gig rowing around Chichester Harbour ? Penny Chuter ??

Not enough content on these rowers (understandably considering their timetables) Thanks!
Another fascinating discussion.
Thank you Martin, great questions for Steve. I enjoyed every minute of it.
So blessed to listen in on a conversation between two of the loveliest humans on this planet
Just watching this now amazing as always Oonagh u spoke so well ❤❤❤
Great interview with a great coach!!
Great interview with some interesting insights into the Romanian rowing system. I think the women's LW2x is the event I am most looking forward to at Paris.
Great interview chaps. A fantastic undertaking on your part and as a fellow rowing parent (who doesn't row) I feel very proud of you and support your causes. I wish you the very best of luck.
Just brilliant! I know this would have been before the big news at Oxford, but I wonder how hard OUBC would try going after someone like Scott, as a dark blue, to replace Sean! @crossyscorner
Stroke is the most exhausting position. very easy to get exhausted before the rest of the crew.
So great and interesting
fantastic interview great to have such a top class coach be so open and informative /and what an athlete he is, himself respect
So glad that CUBC shared this link, as I've been itching for these insights to an extraordinary race and engrossing drama, so thanks to both of you for this quenching interview! Matt and the crew were impressively smooth for the Dutch clash (aptly called) which I was lucky to follow on a launch. That solid smoothness prevailed against Oxford, who were forced to fluster. Respect for going deep for the win, and it was astonishing that Oxford barely closed in. Pre-race vomiting was surely a significant factor in depleting the tank. Great to hear Matt discuss racing lightweight too, which I did when the separate clubs seemed sadly hostile, before stroking Goldie with Bracey's father in the dramatic Disqualification race... P to BB ;) Dobs Vye
Rowing royalty, what a fantastic interview, thanks Crossy!
Great interview Crossy
Thanks, Martin and Matt - a good explanation and discussion
An inspirational lady for future young women
Who did you cheer for when a kid As a Cambridge born I hope it wasn’t ox
Well done Matt! Winning the Boat Race at stroke is an amazing achievement!
From another first set maths, bottom set PE kid… who also tried rowing at a local club and went on to row Lightweight for Cambridge… I’m glad you had Matt on the show… great to hear his insights and learn more about a ‘Boatrace hero’!
Matt - you gave a great account of yourself. Congratulations. Martin - I thought your questioning was needlessly aggressive in many places.
Appreciate the fb 👍
Bless You, Matt ! A Light Blue Hero....For " All Time" !
Deeply inspired by Matt's efforts this year. Thanks very much, Martin, for getting him on so soon. Just a quick pointer - looks like you have a typo in the title of this video. Crossy's Orner, should be Corner. I did keep chuckling at the "English sparkling wine" phrase that the BBC were using at the prize giving, and now Matt. "Ooooooo we can't call it champagne if it's not made in that region you know!!" I loved Matt's beautiful comment, after speaking about his mother's support in helping him see that he has more potential, "eleven years later you can drool on national television", was a lovely humorous and self-aware touch.
Respect
Great interview again. The predictions for the boatrace (2024) were great....:-) You were totally wrong! Do you know the difference between Oxford and Cambridge? What is the reason of the consecutive Cambrigde wins, do you think? What could it be?
Absolute legend 👏 Love Sanita so much ... what a true Champion of a rower and a person. We in Ireland are so lucky to have her ... an inspiration for my Son when younger to start rowing and loving it ❤ thx Crossy
Wow I never thought the tunnel was so long . R.I.P to all those involved and to the 50 that the Germans murder , gone but never forgotten.
Legend.
Good man, Steve.
Flat earth awakens
Great insight, thank you boys.
The Best Coach, Mille Grazie Antonio !!!
We Love Simona !!! She is the Best exampel for the Young generation.
Hi Martin. It's Rich Trafford from NPL. I wanted to say a massive thank you to you for the course as I unfortunately couldn't attend the last session.
Rich, thanks for making the effort to post that comment - really missed your presence on the final workshop. But you'd had such an influence on the group it felt like you were there in spirit anyway. Warmest and Happy Christmas, Martin
Martin will you ever discuss the use of drugs legal or otherwise in GB Rowing from 2004 Onward . Davif Tannner ?
Many different roads to Rome
I love the River & Rowing Museum. About 12 years ago I was going through a difficult phase of my life and I used to come down to the museum just for the tranquility and lovely atmosphere of the place. Actually my favourite part was the Henley Gallery. Since then my son, now 21, has become a rower and indeed now rows for GB U23. I think there must be a connection. 😉
"promosm" 😡
Loved having you at my university, big inspiration to me, thanks for the interview Simon
❤
Amazing feat ...
Another great interview . Josy always delivers
loosing lightweight rowing seems to be a real sell out of the purity of the sport to the management /fisa /money
