@@flyingwithace It did. I just hope I am able to sleep on the flight. My mother always complains that they don't give you a lot of food but I tend to disagree. How was your meal? I usually just watch one movie I really want to watch and then switch to live sports that I don't need headphones to watch. Any good movies available in the new movies section? I usually watch comedies and am looking forward to watching the new Axel Foley movie.

I managed to get some sleep. I've found that if you twist yourself to sleep on your side it can be a little bit more comfortable. I usually watch one movie, and then leave the map on my screen 😄 Emirates have one of the best IFE systems, so I'm quite sure you'll find something to watch. For me, the meal was enough. But you can get a meal before boarding after passport control. I did that, I had a toasted sandwich.

That would be great. So far it's mainly Airlink who fly to the majority of the Kruger airports. But Safair are slowly expanding their network, so hopefully that's a destination they have earmarked for the future.

Yes, you are correct. FlySafair are a sponsor of the Springbok rugby team, and are the official local carrier for the team. According to a news report I saw the sponsorship is until 2029.

Yes, I saw that video too. I'm skeptical to fly with them now as I might not be able to film 😂 I still have the return trip from Cape Town to edit and upload, and then in February I have a few long haul flights lined up.

Thank you for your kind comment. Unfortunately you need a minimum of silver tier to get free access to the lounge at Dubai airport when flying economy or premium economy. Of course if you book a business class ticket then you will get access to the lounge.

Ok thanks alot and in terms of wifi with skywards is there any catch like a cap or limit of something

Unfortunately I’m not too sure with that. They say that it’s just for use of messenger apps (unless you pay), like WhatsApp as an example. I only sent one or two messages and then used it for the Emirates app to check what was on the inflight menu.

They don’t use the newest cabin like in London but the cabin still look very good

Hi, that’s caused from condensation. This one was quite thin, I’ve seen some videos with much thicker ones. I guess that will depend on the atmosphere the plane is flying through.
