Love this annual show & the artwork is fabulous!

Great job. I first admired and learned about this statue as a child in elementary school, then viewed it as a 12 yr old in 1964 at the NY Worlds Fair. I was shocked, just as the rest of the world was, when it was attacked by a crazy person in 1972. My wife and I are traveling to Rome in about a week (10/15/2023) to see the Pieta. Thank you for your wonderful video.

I was inspired by one of my professors to take a black history course on quilting and the results of it is that at the end of the school time I turned around and made two quilts on my own. So I am deeply appreciated of all the wisdom to everyone here and gave me.

Another good interview/conversation. I especially connected to what Austin said near the end about our community - we don't have a feel for what's going on in the rest of the world and when our youth go off to big city colleges, it can be a shock. My, the stories I could tell about when I came to Houston in 1961 from our very white community. Carry on.
